Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns both returned on last night’s episode of WWE Raw.
In the closing segment of last night’s episode of Raw, Paul Heyman introduced his WarGames team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre before the babyface team of CM Punk, Jimmy and Jey Uso, and Cody Rhodes came out and all eight men began to brawl.
It was then that Brock Lesnar made his return, after not being seen since he defeated John Cena at Wrestlepalooza in September, to lay out the babyfaces. Just as it seemed that the heels would close the show standing tall, Roman Reigns also made his return after not being seen since Crown Jewel in October, when he was defeated by Reed in an Australian Street Fight.
Reigns took out Lesnar with a Superman Punch, and before Lesnar could regroup and launch a counterassault, arena security and the NYPD arrived to break up the action. Reed attempted to attack Reigns from behind, but he was quickly met with a Superman Punch and then was speared through a barricade at ringside by Reigns to end the broadcast.
What Does Brock Lesnar And Roman Reigns’ Returns Mean For Survivor Series?
It has been confirmed that the return of Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns was so that they both could join the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, as Lesnar will join Paul Heyman’s heel team and Reigns will join Punk’s babyface team.
Lesnar has never competed in a WarGames match, whereas this coming match at Survivor Series will be Reigns’ third, as he led The Bloodline to victory in the 2022 edition, and The OG Bloodline to a win at the 2024 event.
