The Beast has apparently called it a career.
At WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar was defeated cleanly by challenger Obi Femi in four minutes and 42 seconds. Femi pinned him with his Fall From Grace finisher.
After the match, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots and left them in the middle of the ring signaling he is hanging up his trunks for good.
As the crowd cheered: “Thank you, Lesnar!”, Brock waved to them with tears in his eyes.
His manger Paul Heyman hung his head in sadness as he followed Lesnar up the rampway to the backstage area.
In an interview back in March, Lesnar told the Spittin’ Chiclets hockey podcast that his return to the WWE wouldn’t be for long.
“S–t! I went back to work so I could feed my kids! You guys should see my grocery bill! I had left the company years ago and I’m grateful that I’m back for a short time here,” he said.
A champion in Collegiate wrestling, mixed martial arts and professional wrestling, Lesnar was WWE Champion seven times, Universal Champion three times and still holds a Guinness World Record for being the youngest person to win the WWE Championship at 25.
