Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi officially signed the contract for their rematch at WWE Clash in Italy during Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, with Lesnar delivering a warning message ahead of the bout.
Paul Heyman opened the show, claiming he was there to promote a match that did not need any hype, before introducing Brock Lesnar via video message. The former WWE Champion congratulated Oba Femi on defeating him at WrestleMania 42 Night Two and admitted the loss had left him emotional enough to walk away from wrestling. Lesnar said he had taken beatings before, but WrestleMania was severe enough for him to believe he was finished. Despite that, he insisted things could not end the way they did.
“Brock Lesnar can take an a**-whooping, but can you?” Lesnar asked Femi.
Lesnar then promised that a “humbled, retired beast” would rule over Femi when the two meet in Turin this Sunday. Femi later interrupted the segment and confronted Heyman in the ring. The reigning World Heavyweight Champion questioned what four F5s had awakened inside him and vowed to retire Lesnar for a second time.
“Last time, I was fighting to beat him,” Femi said. “This time, I’m fighting to kill him.”
