Brie Bella is still on cloud nine following her WWE return at the Royal Rumble.
The Royal Rumble is always full of surprises, and 2026 was no exception. Among the shocks was the return of Brie Bella, who entered the Women’s Rumble at number 29 after a four-year absence from WWE. The star immediately reunited with her twin sister, Nikki Bella, and the pair eliminated both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria before being taken out of the match by Lash Legend.
Reflecting on her return and the Bella Twins reunion during an appearance on Good Morning America, Brie said she was overwhelmed by the response from the crowd when she made her entrance.
“Oh my gosh, it was surreal. It was such an incredible feeling, and I’ll be honest, I didn’t know if anyone was gonna remember me. So when I came out and the crowd was so loud and crazy, it was overwhelming and literally, I’m still on cloud nine.”
Why Did Brie Bella Return To WWE?
When asked why she decided to return to WWE now, Brie Bella said that it felt like it was the “perfect time for the Bella Twins” and she wanted to be a part of the current women’s roster.
“I just feel like this was the perfect time for The Bella Twins. The women’s division is on fire. It’s the best I’ve ever seen it, and I’m just like, ‘I can’t sit at home anymore and be watching like a fan.’ I’m like, ‘I gotta get in.’”
After the match, Bella was added to the Raw roster page, indicating she’s back to stay. On the February 2nd edition of Raw, both Bella Twins appeared on the Red Brand together for the first time in seven years, and made it clear they’re coming for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
