The late Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) is being honored by his alma mater.
The wrestling club at the Hernando High School in Brooksville, Florida, has announced that their annual wrestling tournament will be named in his memory, as well as a new a scholarship fund.
“With the blessing of the Rotunda Family and Brooksville Kiwanis we are changing the name of the long lasting Kiwanis Invitational to the Windham Rotunda Memorial Invitational. We are also creating a scholarship fund in his name that will be presented to one senior wrestler every year before the finals of the tournament,” the club announced. “This will be our 44th year hosting one of the most established high school wrestling tournaments in the state of Florida. Windham was my teammate and one of the most memorable athletes to ever wear the Purple and Gold. I hope this can be a small tribute to his lasting legacy. He is a true legend and someone we will never forget.”
Mika Rotunda, Windham’s sister, wrote in reply on Instagram:
“Showed dad this! We both cried.”
Windham Rotunda was the son of wrestling legend Mike (IRS) Rotunda, the brother of Taylor Rotunda (Bo Dallas) and the grandson of Blackjack Mulligan. He passed away in 2023 at age 36.
