Former WWE star Braun Strowman is set to appear on Netflix in 2027 as part of the cast for the third season of Million Dollar Secret. Strowman, appearing under his real name Adam Scherr, will compete in the reality show’s first celebrity edition. The series places 12 contestants in a mansion, with one secretly possessing a box containing $1 million while the others attempt to identify them. Actor and former WCW World Champion David Arquette is also among the celebrity cast.
Max Caster and Anthony Bowens could be approaching the end of their AEW runs, with both contracts believed to expire at the beginning of October. According to Fightful Select, there have been no negotiations over new deals and no indication whether AEW intends to offer either wrestler a new contract. Bowens also recently ruled out another reunion of The Acclaimed, responding “No” when asked about the possibility. Bowens is currently part of The Opps and last wrestled at All In, while Caster has not competed for AEW since December 2025. The pair are former AEW World Tag Team and World Trios Champions.
WWE SmackDown saw a slight increase in viewership for its September 18 episode, averaging 1.264 million viewers on USA Network. That was up four per cent from the previous week, although still below the show’s rolling 10-week average. SmackDown recorded a 0.29 rating in the key 18-49 demographic for the third consecutive week, slightly above its 10-week average of 0.28. The episode featured an unadvertised Undisputed WWE Championship defence by Sami Zayn against Kevin Owens, two Money in the Bank qualifying matches and an appearance from Cody Rhodes, while facing competition from college football.
