History is repeating itself. Just like last year, it will be Yoh against Kosei Fujita in the finals of the Best of the Super Juniors (BOTSJ) tournament on June 7th.
Fujita beat Yoh last year to win the tournament.
Fujita took on his current tag team partner Robbie Eagles in the first semi-finals match. Before the bell rang, both TMDK faction members shook hands. A wrestling match breaks out with a lot of holds and reversals at first. They then try to kick each other’s heads off but a lot of Matrix-like ducking. In a cool spot, both men bounce off the ropes and Eagles goes for a flying body press of some kind and Fujita drop kicks him in the air.
Fujita begins working over Eagles’ knee. He even locks on a one-legged crab but Eagles makes it to the ropes. Fujita starts chopping Eagles down. Eagles butterflies Fujita into a arm lock submission. They engage in an exchange of forearms. Eagles ends it kicking Fujita in the face. Eagles stuns Fujita with a Poisonrana. Fujita rolls to the floor.
Eagles leaps on Fujita on the floor. Back in the ring, Fujita takes some stiff double knee shots in a corner. They trade some more submission locks with Eagles punishing Fujita’s arm and Fujita the leg, knee of Eagles.
Eagles drops kicks Fujita’s knee from the top rope. Fujita cleverly reverses Eagles’ Hyperion knee smash into German suplex for two. Eagles splashes Fujita’s knee from the top rope. Eagles goes for the Ron Miller Special but Fujita rolls him up for two. Eagles brains Fujita with a Tequila Sunrise Shot. Fujita catches Eagles’ Hyperion knee smash turning that into an Bow and Arrow submission hold but Fujita cannot maintain the hold because he has hurt his knee.

Eagles blocks a kick giving Fujita a Turbo Backpack. Eagles only gets a two count. Fujita hoists Eagles onto his shoulders for the Thrill Ride. Fujita pins his partner to move on to the finals.
In the other semi-final match Yoh battled Master Wato. Just like Eagles and Fujita, both men are very cautious starting out. Lots of holds and reversals from these two as well. From the apron, Yoh hits the Mongolian Chops on Wato and then drives his head down to the mat with his knee. More Mongolian Chops from Yoh and a falling chop right to the throat. Yoh hits a brainbuster on Wato, who isn’t mounting much of an offense at all. Wato has to escaped the Anaconda Vice by reaching for the ropes.
Wato finally fights back with a spinning backbreaker and a spike lariat. Yoh rolls out to the floor. Wato splashes Yoh. Missile drop kick back inside the ring gets Wato a two count. A Falcon Arrows ends Wato’s surge.
Wato turns the tables on Yoh with an Anaconda Vice. He has it locked on for a very long time. Yoh finally reaches the ropes. Yoh kicks out of the TTD. Yoh locks on a Standing Anacona Vice. Wato drops to the mat and there is no coming back from that. He submits to Yoh.

After the match Yoh and Fujita had a staredown.
