Booker T has addressed the possibility of stepping back into a WWE ring, revealing he would consider a retirement match under the right circumstances.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer responded to a recent discussion sparked by a video shared by Triple H, where he joked about the idea.
“Never say never, bro. I’m not gonna put myself totally in the retirement category just yet,” Booker T said. “I might get the itch to want to have a retirement match, and go out there and do something with one of the young guys.”
He went on to name Trick Williams as a potential opponent, praising the rising star’s current run.
“Doing something with somebody that I really, really love what they’re doing as far as what Trick Williams is doing right now. Heck yeah, man… of course I would do it,” he said.
Booker T Says He Could Get Ready To Wrestle For Next Year’s WrestleMania
Booker T added that any potential return would require significant preparation, suggesting that a timeline around next year’s WrestleMania could be realistic.
“But I would definitely have to get myself ready for something like that. It would have to be next year at ‘Mania. Yeah, I could do that.”
The 61-year-old has not competed in a full WWE match since 2012, although he has remained active in the ring through his Reality of Wrestling promotion, most recently wrestling in January 2025.
