Following reports earlier this week that Mexican wrestling legend Blue Demon Jr. was admitted to intensive care following a serious car crash, his family have provided an update on his health.
Blue Demon Jr. was admitted to the hospital on Monday after being involved in a car accident and was placed in the intensive care unit. His family updated fans previously, stating that he was no longer in critical condition but would remain in intensive care for the time being.
Now his family have updated us once again via Demon Jr.’s Instagram page, stating that the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion is still in intensive care, but he is recovering well and his condition is improving.
Blue Demon Jr.’s Last Wrestling Match
Despite currently being 59 years old and having a 41-year career, Blue Demon Jr. is still an active wrestler, having had 25 matches so far this year, with his last match having taken place on October 26, just the day before his serious car crash. In this match, he teamed with El Rayo de Jalisco Jr. and Tinieblas Jr. to defeat the team of Cien Caras Jr., Dr Wagner Jr. and El Hijo del Solitario.
