Blake Monroe has revealed that she would be interested in bringing back the WWE Divas Championship if she captures a title following her move to the main roster.
Speaking to The Sportster’s Adam Barnard, Blake Monroe was asked which champion from WWE history she would most like to face. The former NXT Women’s North American Champion selected WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, describing her as the “ultimate diva”.
Monroe also defended the term “diva”, explaining that she does not view it negatively and remains a fan of the women who competed during that period of WWE history.
“I mean, I have to say Trish just because I feel like she’s just the GOAT. Like, she’s the ultimate diva, and I say that with respect because I know people down talk diva. To me, it’s not a negative term. It’s like, it’s just the female version of a superstar. But she exuded that energy of like being a diva and like she had so much charisma and her promos and her gear and she was just, so many women are inspired by her.”
Blake Monroe Named WWE Hall Of Famer Nikki Bella As Another Dream Opponent
Blake Monroe also named Nikki Bella as another potential dream opponent, specifically referencing Bella’s run with the Divas Championship. The title, which featured its distinctive butterfly design, was retired by WWE in 2016.
“Or Nikki Bella for her Divas Championship because lowkey, I love the Divas Championship, the butterfly. It was cute. It would match my outfit. Don’t let me get my hands on a title because I’ll swap them out.”
Despite joining WWE’s main roster several months ago, Monroe has yet to compete in a match since making the move. Her comments suggest she already has an idea in mind for the championship presentation if she eventually captures main roster gold.
Monroe joined WWE in 2025 following her departure from AEW, where she competed as Mariah May. She went on to become NXT Women’s North American Champion before making the transition to WWE’s main roster.
