Blake Monroe has revealed she turned down multiple offers to appear on Love Island, saying the reality dating show is not for her. Speaking to TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, the WWE star said she briefly considered joining the series but ultimately decided against it because of its format, explaining she would not be comfortable with contestants kissing each other during challenges. Monroe joked that she is too possessive to take part and believes she would “probably get kicked off pretty much instantly.”
Ireland will host its first Raw broadcast in January 2027.
Boca Raton Championship Wrestling (BRCW) has confirmed that the vacant BRCW Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a Fatal Four-Way Match at Summer Smash, scheduled for Sunday, August 16, 2026 at The Studio at Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida.
Matt Riddle, Stallion Rogers, Matt Taven and “Main Event Monster” Fulton will compete for the championship. The match becomes the main event of the card.
The championship was declared vacant on August 5 following the indefinite suspension of Steve Maclin. Riddle had been scheduled to challenge Maclin for the title, having earned the opportunity with a win over Joe Coffey at BRCW Vegas Vacation.
Three of the four competitors have direct history with the championship. Fulton is a former BRCW Heavyweight Champion. Taven challenged for the title at BRCW Birthday Bash on March 1, 2026. Riddle held the number one contender position entering the event. Rogers is a former BRCW Tag Team Champion who held those titles until BRCW November Knockdown on November 2, 2025.
Riddle, Rogers, Taven and Fulton have all featured prominently on recent BRCW cards. Taven and Rogers had been scheduled to meet in a singles match at Summer Smash, and that bout is now superseded by the Fatal Four-Way.

Boca Raton Championship Wrestling (BRCW) has suspended Steve Maclin indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the organization, including violations of company policy regarding workplace conduct, insubordination and harassment.
Effective immediately, Maclin is no longer recognized as the BRCW Heavyweight Champion, and the championship has been declared vacant.
The disciplinary action follows an incident during an unannounced appearance by Maclin on The Matthew Mania Podcast, where his conduct toward BRCW management was inconsistent with the organization’s standards of professionalism and workplace behavior.
“Effective immediately, Steve Maclin is no longer recognized as the BRCW Heavyweight Champion, and the championship has been declared vacant,” said Matthew H. Maschler, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of BRCW.
The previously announced BRCW Heavyweight Championship match between Maclin and Matt Riddle at Summer Smash on Sunday, August 16, 2026 has been canceled. A separate announcement issued today confirms the replacement main event.
BRCW holds every member of its roster to standards of professionalism, respect and accountability. Conduct that undermines those standards or the integrity of the organization will not be tolerated.
BRCW considers this matter closed and will have no further comment.
Former WCW Tag Team Champion Crowbar has been named as the latest inductee into the Indie Wrestling Hall of Fame. The announcement was made by Joey Janela during Thursday’s GCW event celebrating his 20-year wrestling career. Crowbar, also known as Devon Storm, is one of the few wrestlers to have competed for WWE, WCW, ECW, AEW, TNA, NJPW, ROH and GCW. The 52-year-old began his career in 1993, won the WCW Tag Team, Hardcore and Cruiserweight Championships, and has remained active on the independent scene for more than three decades, making occasional appearances for major promotions along the way.
Oba Femi is set to appear on the August 21 episode of WWE SmackDown in Toronto, despite being a member of the Raw roster. WWE announced the appearance on Thursday, although no reason has been given for the crossover. The 2026 King of the Ring is coming off his Hell in a Cell victory over Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and recently confronted Bron Breakker on Raw. Femi also holds a guaranteed world championship match after winning this year’s King of the Ring tournament.
The lineup for tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown has been confirmed.
