Big E almost soiled his couch watching Oba Femi powerbomb Brock Lesnar on WWE Raw.
On the March 16th edition of Raw, Brock Lesnar got more than he bargained for when he issued an open challenge for WrestleMania 42. Oba Femi answered the challenge by walking straight up to Lesnar and dropping him with a massive Powerbomb. He then stood tall with his foot on the conquered Beast Incarnate and pointed to the WrestleMania sign.
On the Raw Recap, Big E spoke of his excitement at watching the segment and hyped up the WrestleMania match.
“Massive Oba Feminist. I almost soiled my couch last week when I saw the ease in which this man Oba Femi powerbombed Brock Lesnar and then to see what he just did on Raw again, I am telling you this, this WrestleMania this match is for me, it is for me and I will say man, the ease in which Oba handles Brock.”
‘Oba Femi Has Handled This Stage With So Much Aplomb’ – Big E
Oba Femi got the better of Lesnar again on this week’s Raw. After Paul Heyman claimed The Ruler was “overhyped,” he walked to the ring and confronted Lesnar, and quickly got the upper hand and threw him over the top rope.
Big E says he has studied Femi in these moments to see if there was any hint of doubt or fear as he approaches the biggest moment of his young career, but he can’t see it.
“I’ve spent a lot of time when Oba comes to the ring, and he’s about to face Brock. It’s not just- I’m looking at his eyes. I’m looking at a lot of things, but I’m looking at his eyes. I’m seeing if there is even an iota of doubt, of fear, of ‘this moment is too big for me, I’m in the ring with one of the greatest to ever do it,’ and I don’t see that. Maybe it’s something he’s dealing with internally that we don’t see, but this man has handled this stage with so much aplomb, with so much grace.”
WWE has now officially confirmed that Oba Femi will face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, and it looks like the man who beat The Undertaker’s Streak could be facing his biggest challenge yet on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
