Bianca Belair has shared another update on the finger injury that has kept her out of the ring for more than a year.
The former WWE Women’s Champion recently held a question-and-answer session on her Instagram Stories, where a fan asked how her injured finger was progressing. Rather than respond with words, Bianca Belair posted a photo showing the finger remains visibly swollen as she continues her recovery.
Belair suffered the injury during her Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match against Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 41 Night Two. The injury occurred during a triple German suplex from the top rope, with Belair later revealing she fractured her ring finger in three places, including the knuckle.
The recovery has taken significantly longer than originally anticipated. After months of rehabilitation failed to restore full movement, Belair underwent reconstructive surgery in February 2026 and has continued physical therapy ever since. She has previously described the rehabilitation process as both painful and frustrating.
Bianca Belair Has Provided Positive Updates Despite Numerous Setbacks
Despite the lengthy recovery, Bianca Belair has remained positive throughout the process, regularly updating fans on her progress. Earlier this year, she revealed she was able to wear her wedding ring again after the swelling had dramatically increased her ring size, while also confirming therapy was helping restore movement in the finger.
Belair has not competed since WrestleMania 41. She returned to WWE television at WrestleMania 42 Night One to announce that she and husband Montez Ford are expecting their first child, but has yet to make her in-ring comeback.
