Becky Lynch’s wrestling career is coming to an end.
On the first episode of the Netflix series Unreal, Lynch revealed her current contract with WWE is her last.
“That guilt is always hard. I had this little kid that I had then been leaving. I felt like when I’d come back she was angry at me. I hadn’t had enough time with her. The time off, it was maybe going to be forever. I don’t think I knew. I was kind of so content. This is probably it. This is the final run. This is the final contract. So, I suppose it’s a matter of knowing that, understanding that and enjoying that the best I can,” she said on the series.
Lynch admitted that during her run in 2024 she felt burnt out and needed to leave the spotlight for awhile when her contract came up. HHH granted her that time off. He agreed to pause things until she wanted to return.
The first episode of season two concentrates on Lynch and Seth Rollins balancing parenthood, their family life with their careers in the ring while also detailing the partnership and then feud between Lynch and Lyra Valkyria.
