“The Animal” Batista has addressed rumours of a potential return to the ring with WWE.
Batista has made it clear that fans should not expect to see him wrestle again in WWE, firmly ruling out any chance of a return to the ring. The former six-time world champion addressed the subject while speaking with Jason Momoa on GOAT Talk, who admitted he would like to see “The Animal” compete again.
“I’d love to see you go back in there,” Momoa said.
Batista’s response was blunt.
“No,” he replied.
Momoa pressed the issue further, asking whether “The Animal” would consider wrestling just one more match.
“I know it’s over, but not even one more match?” he asked.
Batista again dismissed the idea without hesitation.
“No. Never.”
Batista last wrestled at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, where he lost to Triple H in a No Holds Barred match that was billed as his retirement bout. Despite continued speculation about a possible comeback in the years since, particularly given his ongoing popularity outside wrestling, His latest comments appear to close the door on any future in-ring return.
