Jordynne Grace is reportedly not part of WWE’s current creative plans, although there is no indication that she is preparing to leave the company. Speaking during a WrestleVotes Q&A, JoeyVotes suggested that Grace’s absence from television is largely due to the crowded SmackDown women’s division, with limited opportunities available on the two-hour programme. TC added that WWE officials still hold Grace in high regard and do not believe she is on her way out.
Grace has also been preparing for a bodybuilding competition, which could be contributing to her absence. There had previously been discussions about pairing Grace with Ivy Nile as a tag team, with vignettes reportedly filmed over the summer, although the latest update provided no further information about those plans.
Former WWE EVOLVE wrestler Anya Rune, whose real name is Airica Demia, has announced that she is stepping away from professional wrestling to prioritise her physical and mental health. In a social media statement, Demia admitted she had fallen out of love with wrestling and felt she needed a break. She said she doesn’t know how long her absence will last but hopes to rediscover her passion for the industry during her time away.
Demia thanked fans for their continued support and confirmed that she would remain somewhat active on social media. Previously competing on the independent circuit as Airica Demia, she signed a WWE ID contract in March 2026 before appearing on WWE EVOLVE as Anya Rune. She was subsequently released in September 2026.
Hi everybody. I know a post like this is gonna let a lot of you down but I feel like its very necessary. Hell, I never thought I would end up making a post like this.
I need to take a step back from wrestling. Both for my physical and mental health. I don't know how long this…

Kairi Sane‘s next career move is reportedly dependent on securing a new wrestling contract rather than resolving her expired US work visa. According to Fightful Select, the former WWE star must sign with a US-based promotion before a company or agency can sponsor her visa renewal, which could reportedly be expedited and approved within 15 business days. Although KAIRI has discussed a deal with AEW since becoming a free agent, she has not signed a contract, and no agreement has been finalised.
She also has several offers from promotions in Japan. Meanwhile, KAIRI is scheduled to appear on Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea in November. Because the event takes place in international waters, she won’t need a US work visa to participate.
Check out the lineup for tonight’s episode of WWE NXT.
