Becky Lynch is not expected to appear at WWE SummerSlam, according to a new report.
The former Women’s Intercontinental Champion has been absent from WWE television since the June 8 episode of Raw. Following her title loss to Sol Ruca at Clash in Italy, Becky Lynch competed in a first-round Queen of the Ring match before disappearing from television without explanation.
During a recent Q&A, WrestleVotes reported that Lynch is currently expected to return to WWE programming after SummerSlam. The outlet also noted that Alexa Bliss is not part of the company’s creative plans for the premium live event.
Becky Lynch Is Not Part Of The Confirmed Women’s Matches For SummerSlam 2026
At present, only two women’s matches have been announced for SummerSlam. Liv Morgan is scheduled to defend the Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky, while an Interim Women’s Championship Ladder Match will crown a temporary champion following Rhea Ripley‘s injury.
There is currently no indication of what WWE has planned for Becky Lynch when she returns. After spending much of the past year in the Women’s Intercontinental Championship picture, a move back into the Women’s World Championship scene could be a possibility, although no creative plans have been confirmed.
