Avery Styles, the son of TNA legend AJ Styles, has officially signed with TNA Wrestling after making his debut for the promotion at Lockdown.
Avery Styles appeared during Sunday’s event in Chicago, where he was introduced as the “Phenomenal Son” before announcing that he had signed a contract with the company. The signing marks the beginning of Styles’ own TNA career more than two decades after his father became one of the defining stars in the promotion’s history.
His introduction was interrupted by Frankie Kazarian, another wrestler closely associated with TNA’s early years. Kazarian spoke about the performers who helped establish the promotion, naming himself alongside AJ Styles, Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels.
He then offered some advice to Avery as he begins his career with the company. Kazarian warned that there were plenty of “snakes” within the TNA locker room but told Styles that he could always trust him.
Avery Styles And Joe Alonzo Join TNA Roster
Avery Styles was not the only new signing confirmed during Lockdown, with independent wrestler Joe Alonzo also earning a TNA contract. The reigning AAW Champion faced Home Town Man in a dark match before the event, with the stipulation stating that Alonzo would receive a TNA contract if he won.

Alonzo secured the victory and officially earned his place on the roster. The storyline followed an appearance from TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella at a recent AAW event. Appearing via video, Marella announced that Alonzo would compete at Lockdown with a contract on the line.
However, Fightful Select had reported earlier on Sunday that Alonzo had already signed with TNA behind the scenes. According to the report, the deal had been completed “at least by last week.”
Alonzo has been wrestling professionally since 2016 and was trained in part by Mustafa Ali. He is perhaps best known for his time with the NWA, where he previously held the promotion’s World Junior Heavyweight Championship.
Alonzo has remained active on the independent wrestling scene throughout 2026, making appearances for promotions including Wrestling Revolver, Reality of Wrestling and House of Glory. The additions of Styles and Alonzo give TNA two new roster members coming out of Lockdown, with Styles’ arrival particularly notable because of his family’s history with the promotion.
