Arn Anderson has revealed the stars he would choose if he were rebuilding the legendary Four Horsemen using today’s wrestling talent.
Answering a fan question on his ARN podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer quickly named the wrestlers he believes would be ideal members of a modern-day version of the iconic faction. After initially jokingly mentioning his son Brock Anderson, Arn Anderson selected Bron Breakker, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes before asking if he could add a fifth member.
“Brock. How about Bron Breakker. How about Randy Orton. Cody Rhodes. Powerhouse Hobbs.”
Powerhouse Hobbs, now competing under the name Royce Keys following his WWE signing earlier this year, rounded out Anderson’s dream line-up. All of Anderson’s picks are currently signed to WWE.
Arn Anderson Also Picked Two Women He’d Love To See In The Four Horsemen
Arn Anderson also expanded on the idea by naming two women he believes would fit perfectly alongside the group, citing their wrestling heritage.
“If they were going to give me, we’re going to widen Mount Rushmore. How about I’d love to see Charlotte Flair and Tully Blanchard’s daughter Tessa. What a team they would make.”
He explained that their family backgrounds made them natural choices.
“The lineage they have is unparalleled.”
Charlotte Flair is the daughter of original Four Horsemen leader Ric Flair, while Tessa Blanchard is the daughter of founding member Tully Blanchard, who teamed with Anderson throughout the group’s most successful years.
The original Four Horsemen debuted in 1985 and featured Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and Ole Anderson, with J.J. Dillon serving as the group’s manager. The faction remains one of the most influential stables in professional wrestling history.
