Anthem Wrestling Exhibitions is suing Gail Kim. Anthem owns TNA Wrestling. The lawsuit claims Kim insists she was illegally fired in retaliation for whistleblowing.
According to PWInsider, Anthem states that any legal dispute between her and the company must be handled under Tennessee law not Florida law. She cannot bring claims under Florida whistleblower or civil rights laws or federal Title VII laws.
They are also arguing that once she became, switched to becoming a month-to-month employee she was not entitled to employee benefits, worked from home and continued doing other projects like reality TV shows while working with them.
Anthem maintains their relationship ended due to company restructuring in 2025. Her contract just wasn’t renewed and had nothing to do with any kind of retaliation.
Anthem is claiming attorney fees and court costs.
