Andrade has revealed that he is returning to the ring tonight.
“We had some small issues because I had a 12-month no-compete clause. Today, my lawyer texted me and told me: Andrade, we have a signed letter saying you can participate tonight in Puerto Rico with WWC,” he said in an interview. “I just want to get back in the ring, win the title, and celebrate…I love Puerto Rico. I love this company. WWC is very important in wrestling history. Many wrestlers came through Puerto Rico in the past: Ric Flair, The Undertaker and many others.”
Andrade also addressed the fact if leaving the WWE had anything to do with his marriage to Charlotte Flair when speaking to The Ring.
“She got injured. After that we started having some problems and then the divorce came. A lot of people ask whether she had anything to do with me leaving WWE. It had nothing to do with that, nothing at all. Not that she talked to the company or said ‘fire him’ or anything like that.” I respect her. She was an incredible woman. She was a great wife. I wish her the best. I admit it, as a person and as a man, I was the one who failed in the relationship. I can’t speak badly about her. She’s an incredible woman and I wish her the best,” he said.
He also says he has no ill-will towards HHH either.
“When I returned to WWE they treated me well. I have nothing bad to say. Triple H always treated me well. Everyone received me well,” he said.
