After returning to the WWE for two years, Andrade has once again left the promotion.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that “Andrade was effectively released by the company, and that the departure was not a mutual decision. He had not been backstage at TV tapings for nearly a month, and multiple talent were being told Saturday afternoon that the 35-year-old had been let go.”
The official circumstances surrounding the release are not known at this time.
Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer has commented saying: “I don’t know the whole story but I do know it was a discipline thing…He wasn’t fired until today but a couple of weeks ago there was a disciplinary thing and all I know is it was at a TV shoot and he was told to go home.”
Since returning to WWE, Andrade really hasn’t made much of an impact and was recently being teamed with Rey Fenix aiming for tag team gold.
Andrade and Charlotte made headlines in 2024 when it was announced that they have divorced after just four years of marriage.
Andrade’s last match for WWE was in August at SummerSlam in the WWE Tag Team Title Six Pack Tables, Ladders And Chairs match.
In recent news, David Otunga has spoken about how Andrade reached out to him over his non-compete clause in his WWE contract.
