Andrade El Idolo has responded to bizarre rumours that he is somehow involved with the Mexican Cartel.
Andrade El Idolo replied to a now-deleted post made about him on Twitter that stated:
“Gonna be wild for me to say this. This is allegedly coming from me But is it crazy to think Andrade may be involved in some mexican cartel business or nationwide crime scheme. Something big is going on here.”
Andrade replied to the post made by user @vagoni256, who has since seemed to have deleted their account, denying these allegations with:
“What?? Tranquilo amigo!!
Will everyone please stop making things up?”
Whilst there have been reports released by the United States Department of State and the Department of the Treasury linking individuals with the name “Andrade” to Mexican drug traffickers, none of these “Andrades” are Andrade El Idolo, and these wild accusations seemingly stem from no real facts.
When Did Andrade El Idolo Return To AEW?
Andrade El Idolo made his return to AEW on the October 1 episode of Dynamite to attack Kenny Omega and siding with The Don Callis Family, cementing himself as a heel in the company. However, it was reported on October 16 that Andrade was removed from AEW TV and creative plans after WWE sent a ceas-and-desist letter to AEW claiming that Andrade violated his non-compte clause that came into effect upon his release from the company on September 13 and lasts for 90-days.
