After several months away from AEW television, Andrade El Idolo has officially returned to Dynamite and is now confirmed to be under contract with the company.
Andrade El Idolo appeared during Wednesday’s broadcast, aligned with the Don Callis Family, emerging after a trios match pitting Jack Perry and The Young Bucks against The Demand. He initially appeared masked before revealing himself as Callis’ group attacked Perry and the Bucks. Andrade did not compete or get physical during the segment.
Following the broadcast, AEW President Tony Khan announced on social media that Andrade is once again #AllElite.
Andrade first resurfaced on the October 1, 2025, edition of Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega and appearing to join forces with Callis, but the angle was dropped after it emerged that he was still bound by a WWE non-compete clause. Reports indicated that AEW had been unaware of the restriction at the time.
El Idolo recently competed at Wrestle Kingdom 20 and New Year’s Dash for NJPW. The 36-year-old was said to be eligible to sign a new AEW contract after his representatives negotiated an early conclusion to the non-compete agreement.
When Did Andrade El Idolo Last Wrestle In AEW?
Andrade El Idolo last competed inside an AEW ring on December 30, 2023, at the Worlds End pay-per-view, where he was defeated by Miro. Following this loss, Andrade’s AEW contract expired, and he returned to CMLL before joining WWE in January 2024.
Andrade was fired by WWE in September 2025 due to reported “numerous WWE Wellness Policy violations”.
