AJ Styles has taken to social media to give some fans a wrestling lesson.
Styles and his partner Dragon Lee defended the WWE World Tag Team Championships on Raw this week beating The New Day. They beat them with a double stomp on Kofi Kingston as he lay draped over the ropes.
Some fans were quick to criticize Styles and Lee claiming the move was “stolen” from AEW’s The Young Bucks.

Styles fired back with:
“In Prowrestling you can’t claim moves. They may be your signature, but those are still open to the public. Any confident wrestler wouldn’t ever change that. Calm down guys.”

One response was:
Nobody is “claiming” this maneuver, they are simply implying you are borrowing it from your friends and former stable-mates.

Styles reiterated:
But if we do it again, is that borrowing or stealing? The answer is….neither. The job is entertainment. https://t.co/c2rqSGY2PE

AJ Styles and Dragon Lee defeated The Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) for the titles on Raw back in October.
