Khan begins by noting that this Saturday’s will be the first All Out earlier in the day, taking place during the afternoon, the most tickets ever sold for any All Out show, and the first PPV on HBO Max.
The Fatal Four-Way between AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter, Kris Statlander, and Thekla presents a number of story lines within itself. Jamie Hayter has yet to wrestle at Wembley Stadium and AEW returns to London for All In next year. Thekla injured Hayter earlier this year and Hayter was forced to miss time. Hayter herself has a lot of history with Storm. Statlander has had to wait four years for a title shot but has one this Saturday. Thekla has not been pinned in AEW yet.
This being the first AEW PPV on HBO Max presents a massive opportunity for families and young fans as ticket prices have been affordable.
Khan is asked about the 2027 Mania and does not hide his interest in doing a massive show at the same time. He notes AEW Revolution as the PPV runs around that time of year. He points to 2024 as a massively successful show (this was Sting’s last match). Revolution can continue to make history, so why not 2027 as well? He maintains he’s focused on 2025 right now but is excited for the future.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage will be tagging in Toronto after a very long time. Khan mentions them as two of the best wrestlers he’s ever worked with. Having the two tag in their hometown after so long, with such a meaningful and personal story, is going to be a special moment. He is excited to see what story these two tag-teams tell this Saturday. He notes FTR’s classic match history in ROH with the Briscoes. FTR brought Cope back to the ring after he was medically cleared to return.
Khan announces that this match will open the show! Khan says he saw no better way to kick off the show.
Speaking about the Tailgate Brawl, Khan is excited for the opportunity given to him by Warner Bros. and he notes they also were generous with an additional hour on Wednesday’s September to Remember Dynamite. He’s excited for a unique start to the event.
Asked about the chance of a Stadium show at Rogers Center (formerly known as SkyDome), Khan says he’d welcome the opportunity as he loves the building (having visited 23 years ago) but he reiterates his excitement for Saturday’s show at Scotiabank Arena.
Speaking on the return of Eddie Kingston against Big Bill, Khan notes Kingston’s attitude and how it’s always stood out and how fans have connected with him so deeply. He does not think Kingston’s temper has gotten any better, even after this extended layoff. Big Bill’s earned this opportunity and is excited to see what he can do with it. The Mad King wants this match and has told Khan he will be there ready to fight Saturday despite having not been on Dynamite this week when Big Bill called him out.
Kyle Fletcher has a title match for “Hangman” Adam Page’s AEW Men’s World Championship. Khan says Fletcher is ready for this moment and part of that includes Fletcher pinning Kenny Omega in the recent four-on-four tag match. People want to see TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and are excited to see the 26-year-old massive potential play out.
Wardlow’s recent return prompted reports, both true and untrue. Khan commends the retraction of the false stories that were put out.
Asked about the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion Riho and her match this Saturday against TBS Champion “CEO” Mercedes Mone, Khan puts both women over and is ecstatic for Riho’s opportunity and for the respect Mone has for the sport.
