With a big stadium show coming up, AEW posted some very disappointing TV ratings this week.
The show only brought in 542,000 viewers and a more troubling a 0.08 in the key demos.
AEW All In takes place on August 30th from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
Thus far, Dynamite began the year poorly but picked up in February.
Spring saw episodes down around the high-500Ks/low-600Ks but more importantly the 18â49 demo dropped 44% by the time June rolled around.
The summer though has seen a bit of a resurgence in the ratings which climbed to a consistent 650Kâ780K viewership.
So, although Dynamite’s ratings have significantly improved this summer as far as viewers go the key demos are still languishing.
For example: Last month total viewers were up 20% year-over-year but the key demos were still down 20% While Dynamite’s audience has grown, it has lost a lot of its younger viewers.
AEW’s younger audience is declining this year with some months incurring drops of of roughly 35â44%. Younger adults are the most valuable to advertisers and those key demos mean more, are more valuable to the network executives and the promotion itself.
