AEW is set to close out the year with another major pay-per-view, with Worlds End continuing to take shape as one of the promotion’s most loaded cards of 2025.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, FTR will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against the Bang Bang Gang in a Chicago Street Fight at the event. The stipulation adds another high-profile title match to a card that has already surpassed last year’s ticket sales.
AEW Worlds End 2025 takes place on Saturday, December 27, at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, part of the greater Chicago area. The pay-per-view will feature the semi-finals and final of the 2025 Continental Classic tournament. One semi-final will see Konosuke Takeshita face Kazuchika Okada, while the second will pit Kyle Fletcher against Jon Moxley. The winners will meet later in the night in the Continental Classic Final, with the AEW Continental Championship on the line.
Multiple championships will also be defended across the show. Kris Statlander is scheduled to defend the AEW Women’s World Championship against Jamie Hayter in a singles match. The AEW World Championship will be contested in a four-way bout, with Samoa Joe defending against Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, and MJF. MJF cashed in his guaranteed title opportunity earned by winning the Casino Gauntlet to enter the match.
The AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships will also be on the line, as Babes of Wrath, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale defend against Athena and Mercedes Mone.
