An AEW tag team has been sidelined for months, and a new report has revealed that both members of the team suffered the same injury during the same match.
According to Fightful Select, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen of Private Party were both injured during their March 28 match on AEW Collision against Death Riders members, Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia.
Neither wrestler has competed since that bout, which ended in defeat for Private Party.
The report noted that Kassidy and Quen “ended up sustaining the same injuries in the same match,” although the exact nature of the injuries has not been disclosed. There is also currently no timetable for either man’s return to action.
Not Much Information Has Surfaced On The Nature Of The AEW Team’s Injuries
Shortly after the match, reports surfaced that Marq Quen had suffered a tear, though details regarding the injury were never made public. At the time, it was believed he would be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
More recently, it emerged that Isiah Kassidy was also dealing with an injury, but information regarding his condition likewise remained private.
The latest update links the two situations, confirming that both members of Private Party were injured during the same Collision match and are recovering from the same issue.
With neither Kassidy nor Quen currently cleared to compete and no return date announced, Private Party’s absence continues to leave a notable gap in AEW’s tag team division.
