An AEW star has confirmed that they have suffered a UCL tear and will be out of action indefinitely.
Last night on Dynamite, Penelope Ford confirmed previous reports that she has suffered a UCL tear and will be out of action indefinitely. Ford was scheduled to compete alongside Megan Bayne in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Title Tournament, but Marina Shafir has stepped up to take Ford’s place in the tournament alongside Bayne.
Ford wrestled on the October 22 episode of Dynamite, where she teamed with Bayne, taking on Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata, Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale, Julia Hart and Skye Blue in a four-way tag team match. During the match, Ford attempted a moonsault and appeared to land awkwardly on her right arm.
What Else Happened On Last Night’s AEW Dynamite?
On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, there were three Halloween-themed matches as Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy defeated Death Riders’ Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta in a Trick or Treat Tornado Tag Match, FTR defeated JetSpeed, The Young Bucks, and Jurassic Express in a Fright Night Four-Way Tag Match, and Samoa Joe defeated Bobby Lashley, Ricochet, and Hook in a Fright Night Four-Way Match. In non-Halloween-themed matches, Julia Hart and Skye Blue defeated Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata in a quarter-final match in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title Tournament, and Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly ended in a double count-out.
