Vickie Guerrero was almost part of a Street Fight in AEW.
In 2020, Vickie Guerrero joined AEW as the manager for Nyla Rose. The pair worked together for much of Guerrero’s tenure, but their partnership ended when her contract expired in 2023.
During a conversation with Jasmine St Clair on Off The Rails, Rose spoke about her time with Guerrero, saying it was a “lot of fun”.
“At that point and everything, it was a lot of fun. Me and Vickie had some of the most fun just getting to be unhinged. I like to think I brought a more unhinged side of her out. She kind of polished me up, and we just played off of each other so well.
Earlier in the conversation, Rose mentioned that Tony Khan has rejected her pitches to be hit by a car for four years. One of those pitches would have seen Guerrero as the woman behind the wheel in a storyline that would also have seen the Vicious Vixens grow into a faction.
“And ironically enough, me getting hit by a car was for the Vickie angle. We came together as the Vicious Vixens. I wanted it to become a faction. I wanted to build it to become a faction, with the ultimate payoff being a street fight between me and Vickie.”

According to Rose, the car would have been Vickie Guerrero’s “equalizer” as she wasn’t a wrestler.
“Well, Vickie is not a wrestler. She needs a great equalizer. Why would she not run me over with a car? It hopefully was going to build to this big, big culminating moment, but we didn’t get there unfortunately. But no, it was a lot of fun when we got to do those things.”
The idea was scrapped due to the COVID pandemic, but Rose and Guerrero were able to use their creativity in other ways.
“Then unfortunately COVID happened, but we still got to show a lot of our creativity with Being The Elite and getting to have our skits with me, Vickie, and Ryzin. Lying, cheating, and stealing, and doing what a Guerrero does best.”
Vickie Guerrero did have one match in AEW, teaming with Nyla Rose in a losing effort against Britt Baker and Rebel on Dynamite back in 2021. However, the Street Fight never materialised.
