The lawsuit brought against AEW by Kevin Kelly and The Boys (Brandon Tate and Brent Tate) is going to arbitration.
Judge Harvey E. Schlesinger, who is presiding over the case, has held up the arbitration clause in the contracts of all three complainants but denied AEW’s request to dismiss the entire lawsuit.
The lawyer for the plaintiffs, Stephen P. New, told Post Wrestling: “We look forward to pursuing the plaintiffs’ claims in arbitration.”
Kelly and The Boys had originally sued under claims of breach of contract and defamation.
AEW and former AEW superstar Ryan Nemeth were also instructed to seek private arbitration in that lawsuit as well.
