AEW Dynasty will take place in Canada for the first time in 2026.
The first edition of Dynasty took place in April 2024 in St Louis, Missouri, and featured acclaimed matches, including Will Ospreay defeating Bryan Danielson, and The Young Bucks overcoming FTR in a Ladder Match for the Tag Team Titles. The main event saw Swerve Strickland defeating Samoa Joe to capture the AEW World Championship for the first time.
In 2025, Bandido won the ROH World Title from Chris Jericho in The Demo God’s last match in AEW so far. The event also saw Kenny Omega retain the International Championship in a classic Triple Threat bout against Ricochet and Speedball Mike Bailey.
With Dynasty now firmly part of the AEW calendar, it has been announced that the 2026 edition will take place in the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada on April 12th, one week before WWE takes WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia.
The Rogers Arena broke the news on social media and revealed that tickets will go on sale on December 22nd at 10:00 am PT.

AEW PPV Will Not Return In 2026
While Dynasty will be back in 2026, earlier this year, Tony Khan announced that its cross-promotional namesake, Wrestle Dynasty, will not return next year. The 2025 event was held on January 5th, 2025, the day after NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 20, and featured wrestlers from NJPW, AEW, CMLL, and ROH.
The show saw Kenny Omega’s return to action after a lengthy absence due to his recovery from diverticulitis. The Best Bout machine took on NJPW’s Gabe Kidd in an instant classic that saw Omega emerge victorious.
