AEW Dynamite opened with a heated in-ring confrontation between Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland, with Prince Nana also present.
The tension between the two quickly escalated into a wild brawl that spilled into the crowd and up the entrance ramp. Omega struck Strickland with a chair and a V-Trigger, while Strickland answered with a spear off the stage that sent both men crashing through a table, setting the tone for a chaotic night.
In trios action, the Death Riders team of Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Pac defeated the Don Callis Family trio of Josh Alexander, Konosuke Takeshita, and Mark Davis. After a hard-fought bout featuring frequent tags and brawling on the floor, Moxley locked in a sleeper before finishing Alexander with the Death Rider for the victory.
The TNT Championship changed hands when Kyle Fletcher defeated champion Tommaso Ciampa. The two delivered a physical match, with Ciampa targeting Fletcher’s legs and Fletcher responding with heavy power moves. In the closing stretch, Fletcher connected with a Falcon Arrow followed by a Brainbuster to score the pinfall and capture the title. After the match, Fletcher issued an open challenge, which was immediately answered by Mark Briscoe, with Fletcher announcing their next encounter would take place in a ladder match.
In tag team action, Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong picked up a win over Daniel Garcia and Clark Connors. The match took a turn when Strong walked out on his partner, leaving Cassidy alone. Despite the numbers disadvantage and interference from ringside, Cassidy rolled up Garcia to steal the victory. The situation escalated after the match when Darby Allin appeared from the crowd, and chaos continued around ringside.
A three-way tag team match to determine the number one contenders to the AEW World Tag Team Titles saw The Young Bucks defeat Private Party and The Rascalz. The fast-paced contest featured dives, superkicks, and multiple near falls. In the closing moments, the Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Myron Reed to secure the victory and the future title opportunity. After the match, FTR confronted the Bucks, leading to a tense exchange between the two teams.
The main event saw the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line in a strap match, as champion Kris Statlander defended against Thekla. The bout was a physical contest with both competitors using the strap to punish one another. Interference from Skye Blue and Julia Hart created an opening, and Thekla capitalised by trapping Statlander in the strap and delivering a Curb Stomp to score the pinfall and become the new champion.
After the match, Blue and Hart continued the attack on Statlander until Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor ran in to make the save, forcing the attackers to retreat as the show went off the air.
