It’s Wednesday! You know what that means!
We’re in for a massive show. I guess everything really IS bigger in Texas. Let’s get to it!
Kenny Omega’s music hits as the show kicks off!
1. Kenny Omega vs. Rocky “Azucar” Romero
Romero starts off with a jacket toss but Omega comes right back and tosses him out of the ring before launching himself on top of his opponent. He takes control.
Romero jumps out of the ring to avoid a V-Trigger. Romero uses this moment to land some shots. An early pinfall forces Omega to kick out. Romero goes for clotheslines in the corner but Omega fights out with a boot to Romero’s jaw.
Romero gloats to the camera but gets a V-Trigger to the back of his head. I’m not sure that’s the best move, Romero.

Omega follows up with another to Romero’s jaw. One-Winged Angel.

Tony Schiavone joins Omega in the ring. Omega is one of the four main contenders for MJF’s AEW Men’s World Championship. Omega feels the best he has in years. He’s staking his claim to become champion.
“Hangman” Adam Page’s music hits and he joins his former tag team partner Omega in the ring. Page would rather fight alongside Omega than against him. But with the Men’s World Championship on the line, Omega is another obstacle for Page. He says Omega will not be Omega, Andrade El Idolo, or Swerve Strickland.
Strickland interrupts. He comes to the ring with Prince Nana, saying his claim to MJF’s BBB is just as valid as the two others in the ring. Omega says he thinks Strickland’s looking for a fight. Strickland confirms this.
Don Callis interrupts! The crowd makes their feelings known. He says Andrade is going to win. Page gets called out. Callis says his Family runs this show. Omega’s music plays but Omega calls out Callis. He runs after him as Page and Strickland walk up the ramp after.
A promo video airs for Thekla’s title shot against AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander. Babes of Wrath will defend their Tag Titles against Sisters of Sin… IF they do not interfere in tonight’s match.
2. Jon Moxley (c) vs. Ace Austin in an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator match
The bell rings and Moxley immediately takes control with a kick to the face, following with some chops. Moxley gets Austin in the corner and lands heavy punches and elbows from above.
Austin comes back with a few shots that barely register. He goes for a sidelock takedown and a chop, which Moxley absorbs. Austin’s chops seem to hurt him more than they affect Moxley.
Austin lands a drop kick and Moxley rolls out of the ring. Austin pushes the attack, landing a boot to Moxley’s head.
Back from commercial, Austin has Moxley in the center of the ring but Moxley reverses the submission hold. Moxley takes Austin into the corner. Austin drops the leg after getting Moxley on the mat. He lands some lariats in the corner. Moxley comes back with a strong clothesline. Both try covers but Moxley gets the better of it with an elbow to the jaw. Austin comes back and drops with a side head kick. Moxley kicks out at two!
Moxley lands more shots in the middle but Austin dodges and hits a Gamingiri. Moxley kicks out again. Moxley out of nowhere with a Cutter. Death Rider. Game over.
Winner: Jon Moxley.
Konosuke Takeshita’s music hits and he heads for the ring. He and Moxley stare each other down and Takeshita stakes his claim to the title. Takeshita gets out of the ring and Mark Davis and Jake Doyle jump Moxley from behind.
3. Mark Briscoe (c) vs. El Clon for the TNT Championship
The two lock up but El Clon gets out of it. El Clon hits an elbow strike but Briscoe kicks out. A massive chop to Briscoe’s chest barely registers. He comes back and chops El Clon in front of the broadcast desk. He grabs a steel chair from under the ring. He doesn’t use it.
Don Callis says he wants to rename Dynamite.
Don Callis Championship Wrestling has a ring to it… the same one we get in our ears when he speaks… but we digress

El Clon throws the chair but Briscoe dodges. Redneck Kung-Fu drops El Clon. Scissor kick through the ropes. El Clon lands a kick to Briscoe’s head and takes control.
Back from commercial, Briscoe takes a bunch of shots in the corner. Briscoe comes back with a rolling tope suicida. El Clon comes back with a kick to Briscoe’s jaw. Roundhouse kick to Briscoe. Both clothesline each other. Briscoe takes off the elbow pad. Froggy Beaux! El Clon kicks out. Jay Drilller but El Clon bounces right onto his feet somehow! He lands a kick. Double stomp off the top rope! El Clon goes for a Portal Bomb but Briscoe rolls him up!
Winner: Mark Briscoe.
“Hell yeah!” Briscoe doesn’t want to take a moment. He wants to defend the TNT title on Collision. He says anyone except for the Don Callis Family.
The lights go out. Tommaso Ciampa is in AEW!

Briscoe knows him well. Ciampa kisses Briscoe’s cheek.
Renee Paquette is backstage with Kyle FLetcher and Kazuchika Okada. Okada needs to say something to Fletcher. He says he wasn’t thinking at Worlds End. He wanted to face Fletcher in the final. He didn’t want to hurt Fletcher. He apologizes. Fletcher says he was very mad but accepts the apology. The two shake hands.
MJF’s music hits and he starts by asking Taz why they’re in a “dump like this”. Brody King interrupts MJF again. MJF calls King big-eared, dumb, and stupid. King agrees when MJF asks if they’ll be able to speak like men.
MJF says King needs to beat someone “that matters”. MJF mentions Malakai Black as who King used to follow. Then he followed Buddy Matthews, who is still injured. MJF says King now follows another “loser” in Bandido. MJF offers to have King follow him around. MJF says King’s aspiration to beat him is cute but “just a dream”. King needs to be a leader, according to MJF.
King says he doesn’t need to follow anyone. He’s had friends, which MJF wouldn’t understand. King accepts that he hasn’t had “that” match yet. He’s spoken to Tony Khan and has an Eliminator match next week. If he wins, He gets a title shot at Grand Slam Australia!
The Young Bucks are going back to basics. They call out the entire AEW Mens Tag Team division. They’ll return next week.
4. Kris Statlander (c) vs. “The Toxic Spider” Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship
Thekla goes for a handshake. Hesitant at first, Statlander goes for it but Thekla draws her hand back. She slaps Statlander but it barely moves her.
Thekla goes out of the ring but Statlander waits. Statlander guillotines Thekla on the ropes and then hits a delayed Vertical Suplex at the bottom of the ramp! Statlander sends Thekla’s face / chest into the steel steps. Thekla comes back with a kick and then a diving stomp to the champion’s back.
Back from commercial, Statlander fights back but Thekla gets her into a headlock with her legs. Statlander fights out, launching Thekla’s face into the top rope turnbuckle. Thekla kicks out of a pinfall attempt.
Thekla lands another guillotine and then lands a kick to Statlander’s jaw. Statlander comes back and drops Thekla, she gets into the corner but Thekla sends a smack up at the champion’s face. They meet on the top rope and Thekla hits her jaw again. Spider Suplex. Top rope. Crossbody to the floor! Statlander kicks out at one.
Statlander hits a power bomb and a Staturday Night Fever.
Thekla was moments away from victory but the AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander hit a does of Staturday Night Fever!

Babes of Wrath join Statlander in the ring. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford stare them down from the top of the ramp.
Don Callis is backstage with Fletcher and Takeshita. Callis says Takeshita needs to forgive Okada. Fletcher is waiting for the TNT title to return to his shoulder. Takeshita is not impressed that Fletcher forgave Okada.
A video showing “Jungle” Jack Perry’s beef with Ricochet airs. Ricochet is backstage with Gates of Agony. They have Jack Perry but he fights back. It doesn’t last long as they toss him around a little too easily.
5. FTR (c) vs. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle for the AEW Men’s World Tag Team Championships
Doyle starts against Cash Wheeler.
Wheeler gets run over a few times before Davis tags in. They go into the other corner and Dax Harwood tags in, only to get laid out with a massive chop from Davis. They go back and forth. Back Body Drop by Davis. Wheeler launches himself at both opponents but they catch him out of mid-air and hurl him at Harwood.
Back from commercial, Harwood’s chest is bleeding from the heavy chops he’s taken. Davis hits a lariat. Wheeler drops Doyle but he comes right back with a body block. Doyle takes a drop from Wheeler on the ring apron. Harwood and Davis are on the top rope and drops him. Splash from Wheeler but Davis kicks out!
Davis tosses Wheeler out of the ring and hits a sleeper on Harwood. The Death Riders interfere as Moxley hits Davis with his title. FTR hit Shatter Machine!
Winners: FTR retain.
Renee Paquette is backstage with “Freshly Squeezed” Oranage Cassidy. He says he can’t recognize Wheeler Yuta. He’s interrupted by Yuta and Marina Shafir. “Timeless” Toni Storm interrupts. She says she has the back of “Citrus boy”.

6. Swerve Strickland vs. Andrade El Idolo
The winner of this match faces Kenny omega next week on Dynamite.
The two circle each other and lock up. Andrade drops Strickland first but he gets right up. After the two exchange huricanranas, Strickland is inches away from hitting a House Call. Andrade dodges it.

El Idolo gets up on the second rope and Swerve jumps up. Strickland sends Andrade down. Strickland gets him to the outside but misses the fall. El Idolo sends him into the steel steps.
Back from commercial, Andrade hits a torkneeo on the outside. Strickland rolls out of the splash but Andrade hits a flat moonsault on the second roll. He follows with a boot to Strickland’s jaw.
Strickland picks up Andrade with a Fireman’s Carry and hits a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron.
They both end up on top of the guard rail. Andrade drops Strickland’s back onto the top of the guard rail. Andrade lands on his nethers and both men are given the count from referee Aubrey Edwards. Up to nine, both just make it in the ring in time.
Andrade counters and drops Strickland. Strickland is able to get his shoulder up. Out of nowhere, Strickland hits a flying House Call! Andrade kicks out at two.
Andrade reverses a huricanrana but Strickland kicks out THREE TIMES. House Call!
Andrade hits a low blow after the ref doesn’t see it. Pinfall.
Winner: Andrade El Idolo will face Kenny Omega next week.
MJF is not thrilled at the notion he’ll face Brody King next. He gets interrupted by Kenny Omega. He wants a title shot at Revolution. He walks away but runs into Andrade El Idolo. Finally, “Hangman” Adam Page sees MJF as he enter his exit vehicle.
