Two world titles changed hands last night at AEW All In: London.
Will Ospreay captured the AEW World Championship for the first time in his career, defeating Kenny Omega in the main event in front of his home crowd.
Both men entered the match with support at ringside. Ospreay was accompanied by his United Empire teammates after an entrance that featured appearances from several of his previous rivals, including Zack Sabre Jr., Ricochet, Michael Oku and Swerve Strickland. He also embraced his wife Alex Windsor before coming face-to-face with Jon Moxley, who handed him a British flag.
The Young Bucks and Michael Nakazawa were in Omega’s corner. Omega took control for an extended period and adopted a more aggressive approach, at one point using a television monitor on Ospreay while the referee was out of position. He also powerbombed Ospreay from the broadcast table through an angled wooden table before hitting a V-Trigger, with Ospreay narrowly beating the referee’s count.
Ospreay eventually fought his way back into the match, with both men surviving several of each other’s biggest moves during the closing stages. Omega connected with multiple V-Triggers, a Tiger Driver 97 and the One Winged Angel, but was unable to put Ospreay away. Ospreay later escaped another One Winged Angel attempt and delivered a Tiger Driver 97 of his own.
Ospreay then hit Omega with his own One Winged Angel for a one count before following with a Hidden Blade and Storm Breaker, which also only earned a one count. After staring down Omega, Ospreay connected with another Hidden Blade to finally secure the three count and become AEW World Champion for the first time.
The victory ended Omega’s second reign with the championship, which began when he defeated MJF at Dynamite: Beach Break in July. Omega made one successful defence during the reign, defeating Kevin Knight at Redemption. Ospreay earned his opportunity at the championship by winning the Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
Mercedes Moné Also Won An AEW World Title At All In
Earlier in the night, fellow Owen Hart tournament winner Mercedes Moné also captured world championship gold by defeating Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Nightingale entered the match nursing a broken hand, which was heavily bandaged. Moné repeatedly targeted the injury throughout the match and eventually began pulling apart the cast to attack the hand directly. Moné also suffered an injury of her own during the contest, bleeding from above her nose after being busted open.
Nightingale came close to retaining during the closing stages after using the championship belt and hitting her finisher, but referee Aubrey Edwards was unable to make the count quickly enough. The champion later powerbombed Moné into an exposed turnbuckle before attempting another attack from the top rope.
Moné countered with a hurricanrana before applying the Statement Maker in the middle of the ring. Nightingale was unable to escape, forcing Edwards to call for the bell and crown Moné the new AEW Women’s World Champion.
The victory gave Moné the championship she failed to capture at All In the previous year, when she challenged Toni Storm after winning the 2025 Owen Hart Cup.
Both Moné and Ospreay earned their respective championship opportunities by winning the 2026 Owen Hart Foundation tournaments before leaving Wembley Stadium with AEW’s two world titles.
