AEW has officially added a Double Chain Match to the card for this Sunday’s AEW Redemption, as the rivalry between the Bang Bang Gang and The Dogs continues to escalate.
The match was set up following Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, where Jay White defeated Clark Connors in singles competition. After the match, David Finlay stormed to the ring and attacked White with his shillelagh before he and The Dogs retreated ahead of the arrival of the rest of the Bang Bang Gang.
In a backstage interview, Juice Robinson challenged Finlay and Connors to a Double Chain Match at Redemption. Tony Khan later confirmed the bout, with White and Robinson set to face Finlay and Connors on Sunday.
White reignited the rivalry with The Dogs when he made his surprise return at Forbidden Door, confronting the group and setting the stage for the latest chapter in the ongoing feud.
