AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament Quarter Final Match: TayJay (Anna Jay and Tay Melo) vs. Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne

Melo and Shafir bump chests, and it is a straight judo fest from the start. A tag to Jay, and they give a double suplex on Shafir to solve The Problem. The match devolves to the outside, and TayJay land with double crossbodies to the challengers from the barricade.

Bayne clotheslines both TayJay and, during Picture in Picture, Shafir and Bayne provide the punishment and isolate Melo to put her in Peril. TayJay rally as this match becomes a Pier Four brawl/ They go for double guillotines, but Bayne and Shafir suplex them for a two count. Jay has Bayne in a sleeper, but a blind tag to Shafir, and she cinches the Mother’s Milk submission for the win.

Double Jeopardy Match: Kazuchika Okada vs. Mascara Dorada

Why is this a Double Jeopardy match?

Who knows and who cares? Enjoy it, nerds!

It starts as a typical Okada match, but the golden masked man gives a hip toss from the ropes to send The Rainmaker out. Dorado slides out, and Okada kicks him in the sternum. He comes back with a springboard hip toss into a tope suicida. Dorado goes up top and launches, but misses the mark. Okada then sets him on the top rope and a dropkick sends Dorada over the ropes.

During Picture-in-Picture, Okada wears down the masked man. But he comes back with an enzugiri and a botched DDT from the top to the apron edge. Dorado follows with a monkey flip and a spinning tornillo to the outside, and he finishes with a slam to the barricades, but Okada sends him over. Dorado attempts with a 450, and there is no pool in the water, and Okada makes him pay. After Okada is done giving fans a number one salute, they go back and forth, and the 450 splash by Dorado gets him a two count. He attempts a huracanrana and Okada spikes him with a powerbomb. Then he follows with a falcon arrow into the RainMaker clothesline, ending it once and for all.

After the match, Callis issued a challenge to SkyTeam for the CMLL World Trios Champions at the Tailgate Brawl, and Okada ain’t on board, since it involves Konosuke Takeshita.

If dejection has a face, it is written all over Okada’s face…bitch.
