It’s Saturday Night, and it’s All Right for Fighting on AEW Collision. So you know what that means?
No, not to invade Venezuela. I don’t think anyone would be so stupid as to…wait, hold on.
(What? The United States did that?! Really?!! Huh.)
*shuffles papers nervously*
Moving along, we will see the fallout from the World’s End PPV and the events after the New Year’s Bash play out in All Elite Wrestling, as Darby Allin has his sights set on the AEW World title. Before that can happen, he needs to finish up some business against The Death Riders—specifically, Wheeler Yuta.
We come to you from the Esports Stadium in Arlington, TX. Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone have the call, and your First Match of the Night is…

El Clon vs. Angelico (with Serpentico)
Shciavone and McGuinness really play up the whole nemesis to Hologram thing with the masked man, since he will be out of action for the foreseeable future. As for this match, you can smell how the squash is cooking, so let’s jump ahead to a Squared Circle Clerihew™:
*ahem*
El Clon moves are very fly
And shows he is quite sly.
Yet this match feels like AI Slop
And El Clon ends it with a spinning Blue Thunder, full stop.
Your Winner via Pinfall: El Clon
After the match, Serpentico checks in on Angelico, and El Clon makes him pay. He almost goes for a Blue Thunder bomb, but Komander makes the save.
.@KomandercrMX saves @Angelico_AEW + @KingSerpentico from a beatdown by El Clon!

Mox reflects on the Continental Classic and how pressure creates diamonds. He really hypes up how important getting the title was and the price tag that comes with it. He respects Shelton Benjamin stepping in to face him for the belt and says he’ll need to do a whole lot more than hurt him.
After a grueling Continental Classic, #AEW Continental Champion @JonMoxley looks ahead to his next challenge against @Sheltyb803!

But let’s head to the ring for women’s tag action with the…

Timeless Love Bombs (Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa, with Luther) vs. Hyan and Maya World
Hyan and World get some entrance music this time around, and it is less of a squash match than in times past. Which brings up the question I will continue to ask: How do Miranda Alize and Nixon Newell feel about losing this opportunity?
In any case, Shirikawa and World start, and they fight for a standstill. A tag to Hyan and Storm, and the Timeless One has her way with this slop tart. They attempt a double team clothesline, but she ducks, and Storm nails a dropkick to both women and a hip attack to Hyan to send her out of the ring. Shirikawa gets an assist and dives outside, and during Picture in Picture, she picks apart Hyan. A blind tag to World, and they isolate her, and she is a Love Bomb in Peril.
She and Hyan throw bombs, and Shirikawa gets a backfist, followed by a hot tag to Storm, and she is En Fuego, Timelessly. But Hyan and World have a few tricks up their sleeve with a Russian Legsweep/Blockbuster combo to cover, and Shirikawa breaks the count. They toss her out, and now go for a double team that misses. Shirikawa stacks them in the corner, and the Love Bombs pummel them with double hip attacks. Shirikawa dives to World outside and a Storm Zero to Hyan ensures the pin and the win.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Toni Storm and Mina Shirikawa
After the match, all four shake hands, and Luthor tends to his charges. Then the music hits, which means the next match is…
Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne (with Penelope Ford) vs. Raché Chanel and London Dior
This sounds like a designer match… if Temu sponsored it. But you can smell what the squash is cooking, so let’s not pretend, and let’s jump to your Haiku in Review™:
*Ahem*
Megasus and The
Problem solve this instantly.
Drink the Mother’s Milk.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne
We learn there is a problem in the locker room, and Josh Alexander and the Don Callis Family beat up some jobbers while talking up Hechicero.
Backstage chaos breaks out as @Walking_Weapon, @LanceHoyt, and @_ReyHechicero of the Don Callis Family zero in on the TNT Title!

So we head back to the ring for Lucha action with…

Komander vs. Hechicero
This match is to determine who will have a title shot for the TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe next week.
Hechicero goes for some pinning attempts early on in the match, but can’t keep Komander down. The Arlington fans love the “Lucha! Lucha!” that All Elite Wrestling is giving them. This favors Hechicero’s more technical grappling as he tries to make him submit at each turn. He picks up Komander, who escapes and connects with a huracanrana. He whips him to the ropes, and Hechicero grabs his leg and slams his knee to the mat. It’s not long before Komander displays his aerial acrobatics, but Hechicero grounds him just as quickly. Komander gets a leap to the outside, catches him, and turns it into a powerbomb onto the barricades.

During Picture-in-Picture, the Alchemist of CMLL picks part Komander, and then…
(Ads…Because seeing a match while needing to know who some medication will help us despite the side effects is too much of an ask.)
We come back, and Komander fights back. Hechicero drops his straps, and after a few botched moves aside, he grounds him with an armbar. Komander fights through and gets his foot on the rope to break the submission. He rushes to the ropes and misses, but eats a shotgun dropkick that sends him outside. From there, Komander tightrope runs the ropes and hurls through the air to dive on Hechicero.
The agility of @KomandercrMX is unreal!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) January 4, 2026
He rolls out, and Komander still nails him with a top-rope moonsault. A reversal to a sunset flip bomb gets Komander a count of two. Hechicero comes back with a backbreaker, and both men unload with the heavy artillery. A Poison ‘rana to Hechicero and Komander goes bup top, but gets pushed off by El Clon. That allows the Alchemist to nail him with a running knee, and Hechicero finishes him with a rolling La Magistral.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Hechicero
There’s a vignette on Max Caster and Anthony Bowens working together per the order of Tony Khan, and the only question I have to ask is: How long are TK and the Booker Monkeys™ gonna beat this dead horse to the ground?
By order of AEW CEO & President @TonyKhan, @PlatinumMax & @Bowens_Official are being asked to do the unthinkable… be decent humans to each other!

Schiavone is in the ring with Eddie Kingston and Ortiz. The Mad King gives some interesting birthday wishes to the fans in attendance. After that, they have a Message for the Grizzled Young Veterans, Zack Gibson and James Drake, and they’re coming for them.
Just watch, ’cause seeing is believing.
Lexy Nair is backstage with Big Bill and Bryan Keith. They’re “happy” Kingston found someone he can trust. Bill mentions that there is a bounty on his head, and Keith knows a thing or two about the subject, so when it’s all said and done, it’ll be time to pay up.
The bounty is live! Fresh off Tuesday’s win on ROH TV, @TheCaZXL & @bountykeith are out to keep their winning ways going against JetSpeed right now!

Up next is…
JetSpeed (”Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin ”The Jet” Knight) vs. Big Billy and Bryan Keith
Bailey and Knight start, and Speedball is a step ahead of the Bounty Hunter. Bill grabs his hair and sends him down before entering the ring. A whip to the corner and Knight blind tags in himself and dropkicks both men. Now JetSpeed sends Bill out, and they dive to the outside. Knight has his fun with Keith and goes up top, but Bill shoves him off. Bailey comes in and eats a sidewalk slam, and then Bill and Keith take their liberties with both men on the outside.
MASSIVE side slam from @TheCaZXL!

— All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) January 4, 2026
During Picture in Picture, Knight has no fuel in his Jet as Keith and Bill cut the ring in half and isolate him in their corner. He manages to catch Keith with a clothesline and crawls to his corner. Bill tags in, and he knocks Bailey off the apron before Knight can capitalize. A big elbow drop misses, and Knight fights for his life and makes the big man eat a dropkick. Hot tag to Bailey, and he is a Speedball en Fuego. Keith and Bill make him eat two big boots for a cover, and Knight makes the save. Now JetSpeed gets to their high flying ways, and the end comes as Bailey reverses a powerbomb to a standing knees to the sternum. He dives out to Bill on the outside, and Knight delivers the UFO splash on Keith to seal the deal.
One in, one out. JETSPEED WITH THE WIN!

Because the card is subject to change, your next match is…

Shelton Benjamin (with MVP) vs. Dante Martin (with Christopher Daniels)
We learn this is because Scorpio Sky was not medically cleared, thus his SkyFlight teammate is subbing in the match.
(Of course, that would be the story I would give if someone backstage were trying to hold him back. Allegedly, of course.)
Benjamin offers a handshake, and Martin accepts at the start of the bout. Now Martin may be Inhuman, but Benjamin shows why he is the Mark of Excellence for the Hurt Syndicate. He shoves Martin off the ropes, and he clutches his ribs. Dr. Samson runs over to check on him during Picture-in-Picture, and Martin has a mic and says… something, but the damn commercial is running. Whatever it was made Benjamin stomp him and then…
Ads (something interesting happens and THAT’S WHEN YOU MONKEYS IN THE TRUCK™ TURN AWAY?!)
Once we come back, we learn from a replay that MVP told him it was okay to quit and that there would be no shame in doing so. That’s what led Martin to get on the stick and say to Benjamin, “My Mom didn’t raise no bitch. Did yours?”
Just as @The305MVP tried to get @lucha_angel1 to give up, Dante fired back!

Oh, snap! Martin has some huevos on him.
They go back into it, and Benjamin catches a springboard Moonsault, but Martin counters with a submission. He gets turned around, and Benjamin lands a standing powerbomb, followed by three release German suplexes. After all is said and done, a running knee strike with a superkick ends it.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Shelton Benjamin
After the match, MVP gets on the mic and gives props to Martin for a valiant effort and for stepping up. He and Benjamin shake hands in a show of respect, as MVP directs the fans to shower him with praise. As for the upcoming business with him and Moxley next Wednesday, MVP applauds him for how he handles pain and how his Death Riders operate. But when it comes to Benjamin, he’ll be tossed “like a sack of dirty laundry” and promises that in the end, he will lose because when it comes to The Hurt Syndicate, “They hurt people.”
Earlier, Nair interviewed with Guevara nd Bandido. Guevara watched how people did the right things with the wrong people, and his destiny is to be a World Champion. Bandido doesn’t know why he’s angry, but he grants him a shot at the ROH belt next week.

It’s time for the Main Event as Mox joins on commentary for the match between…

Darby Allin vs. Wheeler Yuta (with Marina Shafir)
Chants of “F*** you, Yuta!” ring out at the start, and you can tell the Death Rider is the modern-day version of X-Pac.
The bell rings, and they lock up, which features some nice chain wrestling. Allin sends him out after a high hip toss and goes to dive, but Shafir stands in front to make him halt. He steps out, and Yuta plays dirty, sending him to the barricades.
Diversionary tactic gets @WheelerYuta the upper hand!

He rolls him in the ring, and Allin gets back on track with his unorthodox offense. He attempts the Coffin Drop, and once again, Shafir distracts him to allow Yuta to shove him off and nail a neckbreaker to the apron edge.

Yuta is in the driver’s seat throughout Picture in Picture, dismantling his appendages. Allin stages a comeback, and he nails him with a springboard back elbow. A Code Red gets a two-count, and Yuta rolls out. He hits the ropes, and Shafir is there to trip him up, but the ref catches her in the act, and he ejects her from ringside. She protests the ruling, and Toni Storm comes down the ramp, and they brawl up the ramp into the back. While that is taking place, Danny Garcia makes an appearance to clothesline Allin and roll him in. Yuta covers, but he manages to kick out. Yuta goes up to the turnbuckle and attempts a splash, and he belly flops. Allin dives to the outside and from the apron edge. Yuta hits him with a Busaiku knee, and he flips to the floor.

He rolls him into the squared circle to cover, but Yuta still gets a near fall. He then drills Allin with the hammer and tang elbows to the head and shoulders, followed by a Scorpion Death Lock. Allin fights through the pain and rolls out of the submission. He counters a monkey flip and gets a stomp to Yuta. Then he follows with two coffin drops for a two count, and then he shows Yuta what his mentor Sting taught him as he cinches the Scorpion Death Lock. Yuta screams in pain as he quickly taps out.
Your Winner via Submission: Darby Allin
Allin gains a small part of vengeance against The Death Riders as the show draws to a close.
