It’s Saturday Night, and it’s all right for fighting on AEW Collision. You know what that means?
No, you can’t take any Nobel Peace Prizes. You didn’t earn them, no matter how much you want them.
But speaking of earning opportunities, “Jungle” Jack Perry and Anthony Bowens have a shot in the main event to see who will face Ricochet for the newly minted National title. Plus, “Hangman” Adam Page and Jet Speed face The Opps for the Trios titles, and Page is definitely keen on taking everything away from Samoa Joe. Who will come out on top in this double main event?
We’ll find out tonight as we come to you (taped) from the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, AZ. Nigel McGuinness nd Tony Schiavone have the call. Your First Match of the Night is…

Andrade El Idolo (with Don Callis) vs. Angelico (with Serpentico)
Can ya smell if the Squash is cooking? I sure can. Good on Angelico getting work, and even better that Andrade can wrestle in AEW after some serious legal BS.
But this match really deserves a Perfect Roasted Squash recipe
As for the end, El Idolo delivers what McGuinness calls a DM (an underhook to a spinning slam).
A DOMINANT return for @AndradeElIdolo!

Your Winner via Pinfall: Andrade El Idolo
Lexy Nair is backstage with the newest signees, The Rascalz, and it’s a little…smoky in their dressing room. Nair experiences a contact high as Za Wentz, Dezmond, Xavier, and Myron Reed introduce themselves to fans who haven’t followed them in their total nonstop action in the ring.
*ahem*
They ask if she wants to join them in the dressing room. Nair passes, explaining that she’s working.
Well, so are they…to some degree.
Ha!
"Smoke ’em if ya got ’em!"
The Rascalz @ZacharyWentz, @dezmondxavier & @TheBadReed have arrived in AEW!

There is a vignette on what started the issue between Gibson and Drake with Kingston, and how Ortiz joined the fun.
STILL TO COME! Tensions collide when The Grizzled Young Veterans @ZackGibsonGYV & James Drake take on Eddie Kingston & @Ortiz_Powerful!

With that, it’s time to Grit Your Teeth as the next match is…

Eddie Kingston and Ortiz vs. The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson)
Ortiz and Gibson come to a standstill at the start of the match. Drake comes in, but The Powerful Puerto Rican holds both men at bay. He gets a springboard facebuster to Drake, and then he and Kingston combine for a double suplex. They both give the Veteran a shotgun dropkick after running the ropes multiple times.
Eddie Kingston and @Ortiz_Powerful made James Drake REALLY wait for that one!

Kingston gets in a little trouble, but a Lariat to a charging Drake stops that in its tracks. Tag to Ortiz, he is doing well until Gibson and Drake stop his momentum. Ortiz is in trouble as the Grizzled Young Veterans have their way during Picture in Picture, and then Gibson goes for a powerbomb, which is reversed into a huracanrana. They hold him back, but an enzugiri to Drake, and he gets a two-count. Gibson interrupts the double team and decides to give forearms to Kingston, who ain’t fazed a bit. He drops a strap and nails an exploder suplex, but Drake is there for the save and gives a flatliner to a Koji clutch to Kingston. Ortiz gets Gibson out of the ring and pummels on him while Drake cranks in the submission. Kingston signals with one finger that he’s not done and then pounds Drake like a red-headed stepchild.
A defiant Eddie Kingston will not stay down!

Drake with a rollup, but he gets pushed off, and Ortiz clocks him with a sock to his head, and Kingston delivers a DDT to get the pin and the win.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Eddie Kingston and Ortiz
Recap of the trios match on Dynamite with the Triangle of Madness defeating Kris Statlander and The Babes of Wrath.
We see Statlander tell the Babes that all is good, but she has words for Thekla. Yeah, she pinned her, but she tells her to step up to the champ. While she thinks Thekla may be toxic, she likes the taste.
“What you think is toxic, I think I like the taste.”
Despite being pinned by @toxic_thekla on Wednesday, #AEW Women’s World Champion @callmekrisstat is clearly focused on what comes next!

Hey, don’t yuck on someone’s yum. Also, if you watch the video, Cameron wants what Big Daddy Stat is bringing.
Schiavone is there on stage with FTR and Stokely, and the subject is their next challengers, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle. Stokely ain’t gonna say anything bad about Callis and congratulates them. He adds they look like what professional wrestlers should look like, but they don’t have the titles. Wheelers adds that places like Sports Illustrated call them the best, so where do Davis and Doyle fit? Harwood prompts Schiavone to ask what they hate about the people. After he goes through the motions, Harwood answers that fans like shiny new things. Davis and Doyle are good, but after one match, they got a title shot. No matter what, Harwood makes it clear that they are in front of the greatest tag team of all time, and there is only one.
An emphatic statement from Dax Harwood to the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, @DUNKZILLADavis + @JakeSomething_!

Well, maybe not that way but…I dunno. Could help with their anxiety.
Now let’s go back to the ring for women’s action with…

Marina Shafir vs. Zayda Steel (with Christopher Daniels)
This is the singles debut for Steel, but she has a Problem in the female Death Rider. Jon Moxley joins at commentary, mostly to cheer on Shafir. While Steel shows promise early on, a big boot ends that.
ONE KICK and down goes @ZaydaSteel!

During Picture-in-Picture, Shafir compounds the pain and toys with the upstart, which leads to…
Ads (I should be upset, but honestly…I needed that break).
Steel stages a comeback with a codebreaker and then a running knee in the corner. It’s all for naught as Shafir sends her down, and after a few minutes, shepasses out to the Mother’s Milk.
Your Winner via Submission: Marina Shafir
After the match ends, that leads to the next match with El Clon, Josh Alexander, and Kyle Fletcher heading to the ring.
It should be noted that this is the first time since World’s End that Fletcher has been back in the ring, and obviously, everyone, including a former Blackpool Combat Club member, has had their say on the subject.
In the meantime, Mox and Callis get into a heated debate on the continental title. Callis thinks it should still be in the family, and Mox disagrees.
The tension between AEW Continental Champion @JonMoxley and @TheDonCallis Family on the commentary desk is RED HOT!

Things come to a head as Callis ducks out, and Mox heads out after him. That brings out Archer and Romero, who jump Mox, but the rest of the Death Riders rush to the rescue. It’s chaos outside the ring as SkyFlight dives on all the bodies, and we go to commercial as they try to restore order.
Before @JonMoxley was able to leave the ringside area, @TheDonCallisFamily descended to attack, but The Death Riders weren't too far behind to even the odds!

Now things are clear, so your next match is between…
The Don Callis Family (El Clon, Josh Alexander, and Kyle Fletcher) vs. SkyFlight (Dante Martin, Darius Martin, and Scorpio Sky)
At this point, this deserves a Squared Circle Clerihew™
*ahem*
The Callis Family is violent tonight
With SkyFlight providing high-flying that’s out of sight.
Nut with one swift strike,
Alexander gets the win with a piledriver spike.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Josh Alexander, El Clon, and Kyle Fletcher
After the match, Konosuke Takeshita comes out, blows past Callis, and embraces Fletcher.
Hmm…Can anyone else say, “Internal problems?” I sure can.
Nair is backstage with Orange Cassidy and Roderick Strong. He tells CLAUDIO that he will beat Castagnoli to take the CMLL Heavyweight title. Cassidy is down for that, but Strong isn’t and bounces…only for Mark Briscoe to bring him back to the Conglomeration. Plus, Briscoe has a manifestation of El Clon and him facing each other for the TNT belt next week.

Now for women’s tag team action with…
Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford vs. Danielle Kamela and Viva Van
This is the first match for Ford after her injury.
I would normally do something snarky for a squash match, but I was mostly noticing how Shafir is out circling the ring, watching the carnage. It’s mostly Bayne takes on the lion’s share of the beatdowns until Ford tags in, and a Doomsday Device ends it.
BOW DOWN!

Your Winners via Pinfall: Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford
After the match, Shafir salutes Ford, but “Timeless” Toni Storm and Mina Shirikawa come out for the Phreaks of Phoenix. As for what Storm has to say…well…
They ain’t shrinking violets, I’ll definitely say that.
Nair is backstage with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana, and she wants to know his plan on getting back in the title hunt. Strickland says not to worry about his strategy. Kevin Knight comes out, and he says he was triggered by Strickland calling him the future, since he needs to focus on the present. Swerve suggests he focus on the title hunt match tonight, and then he can talk.
.@Jet2Flyy makes his move toward @swerveconfident, but Swerve shuts it down and tells him to lock in on his #AEW World Trios Title match later tonight!

AEW National champion Ricochet is out and joins the commentary to see the match to determine the…

AEW National Title Number One Contender: “Jungle” Jack Perry vs. Anthony Bowens
Perry and Bowens shake hands in a show of respect, and then they lock up. Both men are evenly matched, and at one point Perry offers a scissor. Bowens acknowledges…and then the former Jungle Boy bites down.
.@Bowens_Official should know better than to scissor with just anybody!

Perry goes up top, and Bowens trips him up. He and he takes him for a ride before getting chopped to the ground. Outside the ring, they go for broke, and Perry nails a bulldog to the floor. During Picture in Picture, Perry is examined by Dr. Samson, but he fights on. Bowens gets back on top, and they trade chops and then…
Ads (Grr! And it was getting good, too!)
We come back, and Perry lands with a DDT for a two count. He attempts the running knee and misses the mark, but Bowens counters with a thrust kick. He then hits an innovative spinning STO for a two count. Bowens attempts with a series of near falls, but it’s Perry with a running knee to earn the shot.
Your Winner via Pinfall, and New Number One Contender: “Jungle” Jack Perry
After the match, Perry picks up Bowens and embraces him in a show of respect. Ricochet looks at him and puts up his feet since he doesn’t sweat him. Perry makes him regret it as he attacks him and they brawl backstage.

Time for the Main Event for the…

AEW World Trios Title Match: The Opps (Katsuyori Shibata, Powerhouse Hobbs, and Samoa Joe) (c) vs. “Hangman” Adam Page and JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight)
The bell rings, and Page and Joe get ready to start, but he quickly tags in Shibata. Page then gets Bailey in the ring as fans chant, “Speed-ball S***!” Shibata suckers in Bailey, and he returns fire with his educated feet. A tag to Knight and JetSpeed work over The Wrestler. Now Hobbs comes in, and the Powerhouse levels The Jet. Before more damage can be done, Page comes in, and Hobbs knocks down the Hangman. Joe directs Shibata and Hobbs to work over the Hangman. Bailey is back in, and The Wrestler nails works him with a suplex on the apron edge and the floor.

During Picture in Picture, Bailey is a Speedball stopped and stomped by The OPPs. He manages to make Joe eat a dropkick, and Bailey crawls to the corner. A hot tag to Page, and he gets his Cowboy S*** en Fuego as he wants Joe and the rest of The OPPs to feel the pain. Hobbs sets Page up for a slam, and Bailey sweeps the leg and follows with double knees to his face. Knight gets in the fray and attempts a crossbody, and Hobbs counters with a uranage. Joe adds a powerslam to cover, and Page comes in at the last minute for the save. The OPPs rally with some triple team action on The Jet, but there is another save by the Hangman. Shibata and Joe latch on with sleepers on Page and Bailey. Hobbs sends Knight to the ropes, but he counters with a rollup and gets the pin at one, two, and three.
