Tony Khan has spoken about exactly why Adam Copeland has been away from AEW as of late.
Tony Khan has explained why Adam Copeland hasn’t been seen in AEW since All Out on September 20, confirming previous reports from PWInsider in an interview with Z100 New York that Copeland is indeed away filming the new season of ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ for Disney+. Khan said that Copeland is out filming right now and is excited to have him back soon, when filming for the show wraps.
Copeland plays the recurring character Ares, the God of War, in the show, which debuted in 202,3, and Copeland was featured in three episodes of the first season as Ares, and the show was well received by audiences and critics alike, garnering a 91% critic score vs. a 79% user score on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 7.0 on IMDB.

Adam Copeland is no stranger to the world of acting, as he most notably played the recurring character of Kjetill Flatnose in the hit series ‘Vikings’ in seasons five and six.
