AEW World Tag Team Champion Adam Copeland has revealed several career goals he still hopes to achieve before bringing his legendary in-ring career to an end.
Posting on Instagram, the WWE Hall of Famer acknowledged that the final chapter of his wrestling career is approaching, but said he still has a number of dream accomplishments left on his bucket list. Copeland recently checked one goal off that list by wrestling at Arena México and is set to fulfil another when he competes at AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium later this month.
Looking further ahead, Copeland revealed he hopes to wrestle at Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens and inside the iconic Tokyo Dome before retiring. He also named Kenny Omega as the opponent he most wants to face in a singles match.
Adam Copeland’s Return From 2011 Retirement So Far
The 11-time WWE World Champion was forced into retirement in 2011 because of serious neck issues before making his surprise return to the ring at the 2020 Royal Rumble.
After leaving WWE in 2023, Adam Copeland signed with AEW, where he has enjoyed championship success as both a TNT Champion and, alongside longtime friend and rival Christian Cage, one-half of the current AEW World Tag Team Champions.
While retirement is now firmly on the horizon, Copeland appears determined to tick off a few more career milestones before calling time on one of professional wrestling’s most celebrated careers.
