If there ever was a David versus Goliath match it was at AAA Triplemania tonight as GM Rey Mysterio tried to make sure that Omos’ doesn’t wrestle in the promotion ever again.
Dorian Roldán and Dominik Mysterio accompanied Omos to the ring as El Grande Americano had Mysterio’s back.
Mysterio is wearing his The Phantom-inspired gear, like those he wore at WCW Halloween Havoc way back in 1997 when he faced Eddie Guerrero.
Omos backed Mysterio into a corner but he flipped out escaping. Mysterio cosplayed as a matador angering Omos. Mysterio slithered through Omos’ legs further annoying him.
Omos muscled Mysterio into a corner but Mysterio popped out kicking his legs. Omos just shoves Mysterio to the mat. Mysterio runs off the ropes only to meet Omos’ shoulder tackle.
Omos crushes Mysterio into the ropes. Omos tries to throw Mysterio across the ring but looks sloppy as Mysterio just kind of rolls up into a ball in a corner instead of sliding. Omos stomps on Mysterio’s chest in the ropes.
Mysterio punches Omos in the stomach, bounces off the ropes and slides out of the ring as he was supposed to the first time when Omos threw him. Mysterio taunts Omos to come outside. He does and Mysterio just slides back in.
Mysterio drop kicks Omos in the chest twice but when he leaps over the top rope, Omos catches him. While still holding Mysterio he gives him three knees to the ribs and slams him on the barricade.
Dominik gives Omos a high five on the floor. Omos hoists Mysterio over his head throwing him over the top rope and back into the ring.
“This is too easy,” laughs Omos as he turns to Mysterio’s wife in the front row.
Omos gives Mysterio a Stinger Splash in a corner. Omos rushes at Mysterio again. Mysterio ducks, climbs on the second rope hammering away on Omos. Omos puts a bear hug on Mysterio. Mysterio bites Omos’ ear. Omos slams him to the mat.
Omos slings Mysterio into a corner. He does Guerrero’s signature taunt and the crowd boos him even more. Another bear hug by Omos. Mysterio goes to the eyes. A drop kick to the knee, three flying forearms to the head knock Omos into the ropes where he is all tied up.
Mysterio kicks Omos twice in the “lower abdomen” and rains down punches on him. The official backs Mysterio off as Dorian Roldán attempts to free Omos. While everyone is distracted, Dominik pulls Mysterio out onto the floor. El Americano stops Dominik from using a steel chair on his dad. Americano dives at Dominik knocking him over the announce table.
Mysterio grabs the chair. Omos grabs Mysterio by his mask from behind. Omos shoves the official off. As Omos reaches for Mysterio again he hits him with the steel chair right in the head.
Mysterio sends Omos into a corner with a hurricanrana. 619s to Omos’ gut, back and leg. Mysterio shot blocks Omos’ weakened knee. Another drop kick sends Omos into the ropes. A 619 to the head. A flying Bronco Buster from the top rope and splash from the top rope for a two.
On the floor, Dominik hits Americano with a steel chair in the ribs and across the back. Dominik puts the chair under Americano’s throat and slams the chair to the floor.
Mysterio runs off the ropes catching a boot to the face. Omos chokeslams Mysterio for the three count.
Mysterio has no choice now but to reinstate Omos.
Omos drops three elbows on a fallen Mysterio. He drops another for good measure. Dominik hits Americano with a steel chair again.
Mysterio is about to be stretchered away by the medical staff but Omos tosses them away like yesterday’s garbage. He clears off the English announce table. Omos slams Mysterio and his backboard through the table.

Axiom and Bravo chop the crap out of each other in the middle of the ring. Bravo bridges out of a…well…bridging suplex. Bravo muscles up Axiom but he counters with a hurricanrana. Sit-out powerbomb by Bravo. Frazer super kicks Bravo in the face.
Frazer has both men. Bravo snaps Frazer’s fingers. Rayo pins Frazer with diving head butt.

Nattie vs. Faby Apache vs. La Hiedra vs. Roxanne Perez — AAA Reina de Reinas Championship No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match
La Hiedra breaks up Perez’s attempted pinfall on Apache. Nattie breaks up Hiedra’s attempted pin on Perez. Hiedra gives Nattie a stunner for a two count. Nattie looks to put Hiedra in a Sharpshooter. Perez hits Nattie with a sunset flip. Nattie clocks Perez.
Nattie makes Hiedra eat a big boot. Nattie puts Perez in a Sharpshooter. Apache breaks things up, face planting Nattie. Apache dives on Nattie on the floor. Hiedra throws Apache into the barricade. Hiedra gets a two count with a Michinoku Driver on Perez.
Hiedra charges at Perez. Perez dodges. Flammer rushes into the ring to clock Perez with the belt. Perez ducks and Flammer almost hits Hiedra instead. Perez shoves Heidra into Flammer knocking her out of the ring. Pop Rox on Hiedra for the win.

La Parka (c) vs. Mr. Iguana vs. Laredo Kid — AAA Latin American Championship Triple Threat Match
Iguana hits a crossbody on the champion. Kid saves the match breaking up Iguana’s crucifix driver on Parka. Kid stomps the crap out of Iguana and gets booed. Kid slaps Iguana across the face. Iguana scores a two count with a Shining Wizard.
Kid dives on Iguana and Parka on the floor knocking them into the barricade. Kid nails a 450 splash on Iguana but he kicks out. Parka hits a backstabber on Kid from behind. Kid kicks out.
Iguana puts Parka in an arm bar. Parka scoops him up slamming him into the top turnbuckle. Parka rushes at Kid. Kid just back drops him over the top rope. As Kid and Iguana battle on the top rope, Parka is back into the match giving them both a Double Spanish Fly off the top rope.
Kid hoists up Iguana onto his shoulders. Parka hits a clothesline from the top rope. Parka pins Kid with his Bone Breaker. Parka dances with a little Parka in the ring.
Winner: …and still AAA Latin American Champion, La Parka.
Dave The Clown, Murder Clown & Panic Clown of Los Psycho Circus (c) vs. Daga, Angel & Berto of Los Perros del Mal — AAA World Trios Championship Match
Berto clotheslines Dave over the barricade. Daga bites Murder Clown’s head. Angel powerbombs Murder off the second rope. Daga hits a double stomp from the top rope and Daga is pinned.
Winners: …and new AAA World Trios Champions, Los Perros del Mal.
