A AAA star has been fired from the company for assaulting a fan.
BodySlam reports that AAA has released Niño Hamburguesa (The Hamburger Kid) following his actions at an independent show. Hamburguesa’s a former AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champion with partner Big Mami and won prestigious tournaments like Rey de Reyes in 2025.
In the viral clip, Hamburguesa attacks a fan who had reportedly been heckling him all throughout his match that night. Hamburguesa can be seen sitting on the fan and throwing elbow after elbow.
Some fans on social media defended Hamburguesa saying…
“If you sit in the front row, you know there are limits within the jokes. Whoever goes up there knows what they’re getting into. It’s like sitting in the front row to watch the orcas and expecting not to get splashed by their tricks.”
“What aggression? Come on, man. That’s Mexican lucha libre — they interact with the crowd, and the fans love that.”
…others disagreed…
“The worst part is that he’ll probably give the typical apology like: “I’ve always come from nothing, I’m very humble…” Didn’t @laparktapia say that as long as the crowd doesn’t mess with the wrestler, the wrestler shouldn’t do anything physical to them? Was this guy seriously a champion?”
“It’s already known that he uses stuff to the point that it’s hard to work with him, and now on top of that he’s violent. Why the hell has the company kept him around for so long”
Some assumed the “fan” was a plant but it was later revealed they were not and it wasn’t a prearranged spot either.
AAA and WWE follow strict protocols when it comes to interacting with fans.
