Adam Scherr’s (Braun Strowman’s) infection was so bad he had to have surgery.
He has been in hospital for four days battling a serious knee infection.
Along with a video on Instagram he wrote:
“Update on my leg. Again I cant express how much the prayers and love for some many around the old mean to me. Yall have helped get me through this. Still a ways to go but there everyday. Pain is finally starting to come down. Still got a lot of battle to go but I think we are over the hump and should get easier every hour. I love you all very very much. Matthew 18:19-20, Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. The power of prayer is so strong. I am so blessed to have some many of you care about me. The Lord heard everyone of you,”
It hasn’t been a good start to the year for Scherr. On January 14th he was involved in a car accident in which he injured his neck.
The one piece of good news Strowman has received is that his culinary show – Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman – has been renewed for a second season by the USA Network.
Strowman told USA at the time: “I’ve been so blessed to perform in front of massive crowds over the years, but getting the chance to travel the country, sit with people at their tables, hear their stories, and taste the meals that mean the most to them has been life changing,” Braun—born Adam Scherr—said in a press release Jan. 15 after the news was announced. “I know fans know me from the ring, the ‘Monster Among Men,’ but this experience has let me show the world who I really am, and I’m a big softie on the inside. I’m humbled and incredibly grateful that I get the chance to do what I love and hopefully put a bunch of smiles on peoples’ faces, and food in their belly, along the way.”
