AEW’s Benjamin Satterley, also known as Pac, has died. He was 40-years-old.

A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability. Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley’s family, friends and fans.”
A cause of death has not been identified or stated.
In his last ever match, Pac wrestled Andrade El Ídolo for the AEW National Championship at All Out last night. Pac lost when Andrade turned a Brutalizer into a roll-up to retain. Pac also figured into the main event match pitting Will Ospreay against Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. He hit Mike Bailey with Moxley’s briefcase, which brought out Andrade to take care of him.
Fans knew Pac for his uncanny agility. He was often referred to as “The Man That Gravity Forgot”. His interest in wrestling was shaped by his aunt, a massive WWE fan. Since wrestling was banned in his parents’ house, he would watch it with his aunt at hers.
He debuted in 2004, working the indies in the UK, and from there moved on to Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Dragon’s Gate, and eventually WWE in 2012.
He wrestled in NXT as Adrian Neville and, with his partner Oliver Grey, became the first-ever NXT Tag Team Champions. In a ladder match at NXT Arrival, he defeated Bo Dallas to become the NXT Champion. 287 days later, he would lose it to Sami Zayn before moving up to the main roster. At the 2017 Royal Rumble, he defeated Rich Swann to become the Cruiserweight Champion as Neville. He lost the title on Raw to Tozawa, only to win it back five days later at SummerSlam. He would drop it 35 days later to Enzo Amore at No Mercy.
In 2018, Pac left WWE after a contract dispute and landed in AEW a year later as one of its first signees. He later had an unforgettable feud with Kenny Omega. He would form a faction with the Lucha Brothers, calling themselves The Death Triangle. He then feuded with Andrade El Idolo. He then made sporadic appearances, joining both The Blackpool Combat Club and The Death Riders.
In AEW, he became the first-ever AEW International Champion, a title he held for 108 days until Orange Cassidy defeated him.
With Death Triangle, he won the AEW World Trios Championships and the Blackpool Combat Club, which morphed into the Death Riders.
