Just a few weeks after performing his last concert with Black Sabbath, heavy metal, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne has passed away.
He was 76-years-old.
Osbourne was one of the first rock musicians to cross over into pro wrestling.
His most famous appearance was in the corner of the British Bulldogs during WrestleMania 2.
Throughout the years, Ozzy returned to the WWE hosting Raw and promoting WarGames which featured Black Sabbath’s War Pigs as the theme song.
Famous for being the controversial frontman of Black Sabbath with such heavy metal anthems as Iron Man, War Pigs, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Paranoid, Sweet Leaf and Fairies Wear Boots, Ozzy also has many solo hits after leaving the group including the songs Bark at the Moon, Crazy Train, Shot in the Dark, Mama, I’m Coming Home and No More Tears.
In recent years, Ozzy has been diagnosed with Parkin syndrome, similar to Parkinson’s disease.
