James Pasquale, who wrestled in the US Northeast as Jimmy the Jester, has died. He was 34.
Kevin Protyvniak announced his friend’s death on Facebook.
Pasquale’s died in a car accident, as confirmed by Debbie Perelli, who knew the Jester from Belvidere High School. “I was just informed that James Pasquale, Class of 2006, lost his life today due to a car accident. Those of us who knew him while he was in high school will appreciate his career path and all of the photos of him. Rest in Peace Jimmy,” Perelli wrote.
Pasquale started wrestling in 2019 as Jimmy the Jester, and he was a member of the Monster Factory. The Monster Factory is an iconic wrestling school originally opened in 1983 by Larry Sharpe and eventually bought by Danny Cage in 2011. Cage moved the school to Paulsboro, New Jersey, and with Pasquale being from Old Bridge, New Jersey, he joined the school.
Cage posted about Pasquale’s death on his Twitter, “I just lost somebody that I was hoping would walk through the doors of monster factory again & be the charismatic goof he always was. Then I heard he was planning to come back. Going to miss you Jimmy the Jester!”
The Monster Factory was not the only place Pasquale wrestled, he also spent time in WWWA, Lucha Riot, Titan Championship Wrestling Entertainment, Atomic Championship Wrestling and Stand Alone Wrestling. A number of wrestlers shared their feelings about losing Jimmy the Jester, as Commissioner Gabby Ortiz wrote on Twitter, “We lost one of our brothers today. Really tough news to hear. RIP Jimmy.”
Find Yourself Wrestling has announced that it will be honoring Jimmy the Jester at an upcoming show on April 29.
