It’s Saturday night, and it’s all right for fighting. So, you know what that means?
Yes, the government shutdown is still in effect in America, but thankfully, professional wrestling isn’t for All Elite Wrestling on this Collision Homecoming.
We’re gonna have mixed trios action as FTR and Megan Bayne tangle with JetSpeed and Willow Nightingale. Will it be “Tops Gods, Out” or JetSpeed up?
We will find out tonight as we are coming to you from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL. Tony Schiavone, Nigel McGuinness have the call and your First Match is…

Kota Ibushi vs. Josh Alexander (with Don Callis)
It’s the Walking Weapon versus the Golden Star, and they feel each other out. He kicks Alexander out of the ring and then quickly gets back in and attacks Ibushi when his back is turned. The match favors the Walking Weapon, until Ibushi dropkicks him out of the ring and a springboard plancha finds the mark on the outside. His educated feet of Ibushi strike his chest hard. Still, Alexander suplexes him on the floor, and during Picture in Picture, he torques the legs of Ibushi to take away his arsenal, and as he rolls out, Callis gets in on the action as the ref is distracted.
He tosses him back in the ring, and Alexander continues to stomp him down until Ibushi comes back with a powerslam. He goes up the middle ropes in the corner, but Alexander gets him, and Ibushi wriggles out to a German suplex, and he gives a series of strikes. Ibushi punctuates with a front roundhouse kick, and a standing moonsault gets a two count. Alexander gets him in an ankle lock, but he pushes him to the corner. Alexander comes back and gives an airplane spinning slam for another count of two. Ibushi returns fire with an enzugiri and a half Nelson suplex, followed by running double knees to the face for a near fall. A kick gets blocked, and Alexander slams him on the apron edge and gives a running crossbody, and ends it with a lariat, and still can’t put The Golden Star away. He sets Ibushi up top, chops his chest, and tries to pick him up, but Ibushi tries to wriggle out, and they fall to the floor. Ibushi lands awkwardly, and his ankle catches the ring post on the way down. Doc Samson checks on him, and the ref has no choice as he counts him out.
Your Winner via Countout: Josh Alexander
As the doctors still check on Ibushi, Callis gets on the mic and says this is what happens when you face The Don Callis Family. As Mark Davis makes an appearance to add injury to insult on a prone Ibushi, Kenny Omega comes out with a garbage can and throws it at Alexander. A V Trigger later, The Cleaner clears the squared circle, and you know this got personal.
Before we go on, a quick…
(Author’s Note: As this show was taped, word from PWInsider states that Ibushi broke his femur as he came down, and he was stretchered out. That caused some delays in the show before things got back on track. As for the future of Ibushi…who knows?)
We get a Mark Briscoe vignette ahead of his match with Kyle Fletcher, and he is determined to win the TNT Championship from the ProtoStar. He promises to take him to the deep waters and hopes Fletcher doesn’t drown.
.@SussexCoChicken promises to end @kylefletcherpro’s reign and capture the TNT Championship at #AEWWrestleDream!

We also see what led to the AEW World Heavyweight Championship match between Samoa Joe and “Hangman” Adam Page. But you should check out the recap here, if ya missed it.
Now for tag team action with…
Max Caster and Anthony Bowens vs. Big Bill and Bryan Keith
Really, this is less about the match as much as this is a bicker fest between Caster and Bowens. It is interesting to note that there were more cheers for Caster than for Bowens. Pride goeth before a fall, I suppose.
As for the match, allow me a Squared Circle Clerihew™
*Ahem*
Bowens and Caster are a hot mess
And their tag cohesion needs to be addressed.
Keith and Billy have their way throughout the match,
Until the Bounty Hunter eats a Bowens Elbow, and they win (natch!)
Your Winners via Pinfall: Max Caster and Anthony Bowens
Backstage, Austin Gunn, Juice Robinson, and Ace Austin cut a promo until Billy and Keith crash the party. Austin jaw jacks at Billy, and he’s down for a fight. Guns up, but I feel like Austin may have signed his death certificate.
Now for the women’s tag competition in…
TayJay (Tay Melo and Anna Jay) vs. Dream Girl Ellie and Carolina Cruz
It’s a nice little tune-up match as they prepare to earn the first AEW Women’s Tag Team belts. Yay for Ellie and Cruz getting a chance in the spotlight, but this says squash, so enjoy this Haiku in Review™
*Ahem*
Melo and Jay are
On Fire, and they wipe out
Cruz and Ellie. Bye.

Your Winners via Pinfall: Tay Melo and Anna Jay
Lexy Nair has The Conglomeration backstage, and O’Reilly is fuming over his loss to Fletcher. Cassidy says Briscoe is preparing for his TNT title match. That leaves Strong to call out MOXLEY and the Death Riders. Willow does her best Mark Briscoe impression as she gets ready for tonight’s match.
There is a video package by Ricochet and GoA, and they will face The Hurt Syndicate next week on AEW Dynamite’s three-hour show. I say good luck since MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are in the business of hurting people.
We see the brawl with Mox and Darby Allin at NYCC, and they’ll have a face-to-face on this upcoming Dynamite. The Death Riders run down Allin, and they will not be held responsible for what’s next. Mox promises he will get his face smashed in.
But let’s head back to the ring for trios action that is Timeless with…

Toni Storm, Harley Cameron, and Kris Statlander vs. The Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart)
Storm starts and goes right on the attack to Thekla, but she gets Toxic as she gouges the eyes. Storm retaliates with a Thesz Press and a backbreaker. Tag to Cameron, but she gets backed into the corner, and she and Blue battle it out. A shotgun dropkick gives Cameron a two count, and Statlander joins the fray and uses Cameron to slam Blue for another near fall. The champ shows off her power, giving a delayed vertical suplex to Blue, which gives her time to ponder her poor life decisions on the way down. As Statlander pursues her in the corner, she gets a face full of the middle turnbuckle, and Hart comes in but faces Cameron.
The tide turns when Cameron is tripped up by Thekla, and during Picture in Picture, she is at the Mercy of the Triangle of Madness. She escapes and gets a hot tag to Storm, and she is en Fuego in Timeless fashion. Hart and Blue team up and stop the momentum, but Storm manages to give them suplexes. Tag to Statlander, and she slams Blue to Hart, but can’t put her away. Cameron comes back in, and she and Statlander give Hart a pendulum front slam to cover, but Thekla breaks the count. All six women are in the ring unloading the heavy arsenal, but a tiff between Statlander and Storm knocks them both out of the squared circle. Isolated, Thekla gives Cameron a spear to end it once and for all.
Your Winners via Pinfall: Julia Hart, Skye Blue, and Thekla
Kenny Omega cuts a promo on his history with Don Callis and what he promised him. But since their breakup, Omega is upset more by the fact that Callis has seen fit to he and his group take out friends and family. A knock on the door, and Jack Perry comes in and says he has his back. Omega is skeptical, but Perry says they have the same enemies. He doesn’t trust him, but he’s running low on friends. He proposes to Perry to come to Dynamite so they can work something out, and tells him to head out.
"You and I have some of the same enemies!"
What will unfold this Wednesday night between @KennyOmegamanX and @boy_myth_legend?

Nair talks with Statlander and Cameron about their loss. The champ tells her she’s focused on Storm and their upcoming rematch at the WrestleDream PPV. Cameron worries that she will be “a tag team Orphan.” As Statlander tries to reassure her, Wheeler Yuta comes in to try to mansplain something. That’s when Storm gets in Statlander’s grill, and as they fight, even Yuta has the good sense to exit this drama.
Now MxM TV comes out, and Mansoor takes the mic to kindly request the “mouth breathing sweathogs to shut up.” The casting call is still on for anyone who wants to face them.
Well, Skippy, it’s a trios contest between…
La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Sammy Guevara, and Fralistico) vs. MXM TV (Johnny TV, Mansoor, and Mason, with Taya Valkyrie)
Yeah, folks. This deserves a patented Lucid Luchador Limerick in Review™:
*ahem*
La Faccion says, “¡No problemo!”
To facing MxM TV, while still keeping tranquilo.
MxM comes back with strikes and a pose,
But just like everyone knows
The Faccion can’t lose. So…
Your Winners: La Faccion Ingobernable
That quickly leads to the next match with…

Eddie Kingston vs. The Beast Mortos
Schiavone says you can get the Kingston baseball jersey at ShopAEW.com.
As the match gets underway, The Mad King is stunned by a shoulder tackle but manages to knock the Beast out with a flying tackle of his own. He grounds him with a headlock, but Mortos sends Kingston to the corner and gives a DDT to the bad wing. During Picture in Picture, Mortos keeps Kingston down, focusing on his shoulder/arm until he comes back with chops. Mortos thumbs him in the eye and stays on offense, and then…
Ads (I seriously hate when that happens in the middle of a match. SIGH!)
We come back, and Mortos nails him with a reverse sling blade to a lariat, but he can’t keep Kingston down. He’s dazed and gets to the corner to reorient himself. As he charges, Kingston moves out of the way and dives at Mortos on the outside, which is a rarity for the Yonkers native. A neckbreaker gets a two count, and as Mortos bites his hand, he returns the receipt. A spear by Mortos gets a two count, and then he follows with a corkscrew senton that misses the mark. Kingston comes back with an exploder suplex, then the straps come down, and a backfist drops The Beast Mortos in three.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Eddie Kingston
Hook comes out to raise his hand, and Kingston celebrates another victory over a another member of La Faccion.
Nair attempts to get a word with the Triangle of Madness after their win until Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata jump them. Security pulls them off
Triangle of Madness tried to comment on their match earlier in the night but were blindsided by @jmehytr and @amisylle!

Kobyashi cuts a promo via Google Translate and runs down Rush and La Faccion. He suggests they should get together for some trios action just to show why The Opps are superior.
Now for the Main Event, and it is mixed tag action between…
Megan Bayne and FTR (Dax the Axe and Cash Wheeler, with Big Stoke and Penelope Ford) vs. Willow Nightingale and JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey and Kevin “The Jet” Knight)
The only difference in this mixed tag match is that there is no limitation on men and women being in the ring to beat each other up. Viva the Equal Opportunity.
The bell rings, and Nightingale and Bayne start and lock up, and The Babe with the Power is more than a match for The Megasus. A shoulder tackle to Nightingale and Bayne tries to body slam, but she returns the receipt. Clotheslines in the corner, and Nightingale follows with a running crossbody for a one count. A tag to Dax and Knight comes in, and The Jet is going at MACH speed until a clothesline turns him inside out. Bayne gets in the ring, and Knight doesn’t want to strike her, but she has no problem slapping him around. As the match goes on, JetSpeed and Nightingale are showing off their tag chemistry as Nightingale gives Harwood a Cannonball in the corner. She attempts a senton to Harwood, and there is no water in the pool as Bayne pushes him out of the way, and she makes her pay outside the ring.
During Picture in Picture, Nightingale is a Babe in Peril as Bayne stays on offense and runs her down from pillar to post. She fights back and manages to nail a backdrop to Bayne. Tag to Wheeler, and he knocks out JetSpeed just as Nightingale was in arm’s reach. He goes for a dropkick in the corner. Nightingale moves out in the nick of time, and he catches the middle turnbuckle right in the…err, little Wheelers. A hot tag to Bailey, who is a Speedball en Fuego on FTR. It soon turns into a Pier Six brawl as Bayne gives Bailey a fallaway slam and dives to Knight on the outside. A monkey flip by Cash to the corner, but Bailey jumps onto the middle ropes and gives a tornado DDT to the FTR member. He crawls to the corner, and Bayne stops him. But Nightingale gets in the mix and takes out FTR and almost pins Dax. As she gets the Babe with the Powerbomb ready for Bayne, Ford gets on the apron to distract her. Nightingale pulls her into the ring and gives her a Pounce. The end comes as JetSpeed plancha on FTR to the outside, and Ford interferes again. She and Bayne deliver a Doomsday Device to Nightingale, and once the ref is done arguing with Stoke in the corner, he counts for Bayne the one, two, and three.
Your Winners via Pinfall: FTR and Megan Bayne
As they try to do more injury to Nightingale, out comes Cameron with a fret board wrapped in a chain to chase them off as the show comes to a close.
