CM Punk’s controversial actions in Saudi Arabia have sparked criticism online.
In what has become a viral video, Randy Orton and CM Punk are seen being escorted by security through a building.
A small child approaches CM Punk with his phone in hand to take a selfie. Punk says something, then either just walks away from the child or puts his hand out to keep him away and then walks away.
It is hard to tell what exactly happened as he and the child go out of frame during the brief interaction.
Is anyone legitimately surprised at CM Punk doing this to a fan at this point? pic.twitter.com/wouYaEmtAM

Some fans have taken exception to what happened, how Punk perhaps treated the child.
At the Night of Champions kick-off show, Punk received a mixed reaction. There were John Cena chants and some boos directed towards him.
Before talking to host Michael Cole, CM Punk pointed out a fan in the crowd who he said had an issue with a post he made on X six years ago criticizing the WWE producing shows in the nation of Saudi Arabia.
The post to The Miz read: “Go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you f—–g dork.”
Punk told the fan: “This guy wants me to apologize for a mean Tweet I wrote six years ago. Hey, listen. It legitimately had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I woke up and I was crabby and I wrote a mean Tweet to The Miz. I apologized to The Miz,” said Punk.
Punk then shook the fan’s hand and apologized to him.
“I apologize to you and Saudi Arabia. I am not perfect by any means. Sometimes as human beings we screw up. The beautiful thing is everything is a lesson learned. Now, here I am and you have invited me to your country and I am grateful to be here,” he said addressing the crowd.
CM Punk faces John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions tomorrow afternoon.
